Indeed. The only characters that Rare made that Ninty has the rights to are any character in the Donkey Kong and Star Fox series...Look on the bright side, we get Diddy and Krystal

krystal sucks though. besides, JFG is an n64 game. this needs to go to the other consoles board.

who cares. Does anyone else love Vela's short skirts? Man, they were nice. I was a bit turned off by the way Rare tried to make them look like porcelein dolls. They look a bit weird. In the Computer-generated screens, they look weird, but the in-game screens, they actually look ok.
The gameplay was cool, but as soon as the backtracking started, well, that was a bit tedious.

Anyone mention Jet Force Gemini? That game is... I don't know, it's just too much. Though i am not a big fan of non FPS Rare games i think that Jet Force is a masterpiece despite that lousy build of camera and control mechanics. The game itself is so good, that i can easily forget any shortcomings the game actually has. It's definitely one of the most enjoyable experiences i have had in games. For me it's just a true classic. A sequal to this game, if done right would be the most atmospheric and action packed game ever created. The thought of it just makes me wanna go crazy.

I only had fun to a certain extent in this game. In fact it was my only N64 game that I sold to one of my friends after beating it. It just didn't drag me back into it.

It was too tedious for my taste. At times it was great, but at other times I wanted to smash the cartridge against a wall.

I never ever found anything pleasing about the game. I know that a lot of people like it, but the unimaginative scenery, boring gameplay, blurry, impossible to see graphics, and the lack of fun factor killed the game for me. I would take Conker's Bad Fur Day over Jet Force Gemini any day.

The game would've been better if there was a 1st-person view option... and I agree with you all, the graphics were bland, just look at the multiplayer maps.

i picked up jfg for 20 bucks around 1999 im guessing, it was an okay game, the graphics were bland as oldman said and blurry a bit like greyninja said... so it was sometimes hard to see enemies within the backgrounds, kinda like camaflauge... the gameplay was fun but could've been done better (with better controls) the one thing i liked about it best was it's originality... it's originality reminds me of segas jet grind radio on dreamcast...not in any comparable sense, but in the sense that, wow, this game is unlike any other

Ok, who didn't enjoy shooting those "seemily innocent but we can really tell they are evil" bears?

Jet Force Gemini was pure brilliance up until the time I had beat Mizar the first time... if Rare makes a sequel, I hope it remains mainly linear. The music (the best on N64), the graphics and the pure shooting action (Blowing away those ants was *so* much more satisfying than killing those annoying Skedar) was great.
