BurgerTime HD is no more, as the game will now be known as BurgerTime World Tour. The name change applies to all platforms.

BurgerTime World Tour is a revival of the 1982 arcade title with brand new gameplay elements and level design, which brings Peter Pepper's world into 3D. The game is set for release on WiiWare and other download platforms.

Earlier this week, we posted our impressions of the WiiWare version and an interview with the creators.

Are they eating burgers all over the world? The screen shots look like they're eating burgers out in space. I don't get it.

Maybe the Burgers are being delivered to different countries from space.  They are big burgers.  Could be part of the cooking  process.

I'm glad they changed the title, it's lame to tack on "HD" especially for a Wii version of it.

Since the Wii doesn't have High Definition, maybe HD could stand for Hard Drive.

Wait.
