Title: Pac-Man and Galaga Dimensions To Feature Championship and Legions Versions

The 3DS title will include the enhanced versions of the classic arcade titles.

The enhanced versions of Pac-Man and Galaga, Championship Edition and Legions respectively, will be included in the upcoming Pac-Man and Galaga Dimensions game.

According to the most recent issue of Famitsu, Namco's 3DS title Pac-Man and Galaga Dimensions will include several games in addition to the 3D enhanced, motion controlled games. Along with the classic arcade versions of Pac-Man and Galaga, Dimensions will include the updated versions of each title.

Pac-Man Championship Edition was released on Xbox Live Arcade in 2007. The gameplay retains the maze-navigating, dot-eating concept of the original arcade title, but updates it. When Pac-Man eats the pellets in one half of the maze, the rest will appear on the other.

Galaga Legions is an Xbox Live Arcade exclusive remake of the arcade title, released in 2008.

Pac-Man and Galaga Dimensions will be released in Japan on June 23.

This package just got a LOT more interesting. I wonder how the ports will hold up...

They should make the top screen a first person eater, and the bottom screen the regular pac-man.

This, and Pac Man Championship Edition DX, which is a whole lot better than the original.

Nice, that's 20$ worth of XBLA games right there, even if the main game sucks that should provide plenty of value.


Do we know whether that's regular CE or the sequel, CE DX?
