And it worked! Holy sh!t, Nintendo actually did something right this time!

Great, but the question is, how did you import it?

I took a photo and some videos from my 3D camcorder and nothing... although the 3DS Music software will play back the audio from the videos.  :)

It has to be in the .mpo format. A quick google search will tell you that. Plus normal jpg files will import also.

Also, you have to do some hackey renaming to get the 3DS to recognise it-make it match the filename format the 3DS uses.

True, but if you didn't know how to do it, it'd be tough. ;)
