I was looking at driving to the Nintendo World Store for the 3DS launch... 15 hour drive. Hmm... Wonder if Pale wants a roommate for two days. :D

Pale lives in western New York (about a 20 minute drive from me), which is about a 7 hour drive to NYC.

I though he lived closer than that. I can't imagine he's a seven hour drive, if it's a total of a 15 hour drive from Southern Illinois...

Maybe about 6 hours if you go on the interstate. NYC is about the same distance from me as it is from Illinois. It's 317 miles to Rockeller Center from my house.

Actually, I was given a brand new DSi XL from my English teacher. I already had a DSi, so I sold the XL on ebay. ;D

Just got a call from my local Gamestop shil reminding me that I can pick up my 3DS this Sunday at 9am (no midnight launch for my store which stinks because I actually get out of work at 11pm). This week will fly, but the wait is getting crazy!

I'm gonna walk into the store on Day 1 and grab one right off the shelf....
then I'm gonna walk around the store for hours watching people that really want one and not able to get one leave the store frustrated and disappointed. Then at the end of the day I am gonna put the 3DS back on the shelf and leave empty handed.... or sell it to the highest desperate bidder in the store(before I've even bought it).

My wife is working late, and I sent her a text message to see how late she was going to be. When she told me how late she was going to be, I said I was going to go ahead to Walmart and wait in line. She replied that I can't wait in a line when there is no line. I'd have to wait in a spot. :(

Oh man, is that the star fox watch in there? I don't even know what some of those Gameboy iterations are. That is so cool!
Couldn't preorder mine but the best buy clerk did say they would have more for walk ins. Which means i'm lining up in the rain! I actually enjoy it!
