I might possibly have grabbed the last English language copy of Inazuma Eleven in the whole of England. Rogue early shipment? I can't tell for sure. Nintendo have yet to issue information on this title in the UK, but further details will follow shortly. The game was released in the rest of Europe a little over a week ago, but strangely enough, Nintendo UK seem to have other plans.

It looks like football, but that is more of the overall goal than the individual actions. You drag with the stylus to direct your player and use the menu options to tackle and so forth when you collide with another player, much like an RPG battle. The outcome depends on the experience and stats of each player. There is plenty of walking around and talking to other characters in the RPG sections, and lots of short video clips, as you'd expect in a Level-5 title. It's like watching Bleach with English accents.

I'll be playing the game a little later on but to tide you over, here is the theme tune.

I'm probably going to import this because I doubt we will ever get it here in North-America.

The English opening theme sounds just as bad as the Japanese opening.

I listened to the Japanese one for comparison. It was more excited then this one.

Way more excited.

Menacingly excited.
