IGN is great for just having fun with crazy rumors and stuff. Don't worry, Mario is staying with Nintendo.

Hate actually means you must see it be destroyed.I dont think Nintendo fans want to see mario on xbox. As far as mascots are concerned. Microsoft own 100% of Rare. Banjo Kazooie anyone? (hey another system that has a mascot i like)

This story was posted May 2nd on IGNXbox.

April Fools Day = April 1st

May 2nd != April 1st

I think it was pretty blatant IGNXbox was just kicking the can around, writing an entertaining, semi-daydreaming article. They're more prone to writing things like this ("Blarg the competition will be dead and we will own Mario and Xbox will reign supreme"). At least the "Today's Story" image for it was pretty and kind of funny.

Not funny at all. The GCN is higher than the XBOX so why would Mario standing on the XBOX make him feel taller?
