The Square Enix-developed Mario Sports Mix will be coming out in North America on February 7, according to Nintendo.
The Wii title features four sports (basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, and hockey) with single-player modes, unlockable characters, and local and online multiplayer. The online multiplayer will allow two players on a system to compete against two players on another. Friend Codes are still necessary, though you can also play against anonymous players.
Mario Sports Mix is already out in Japan, and is coming to Europe and the UK on January 28 and February 4 respectively.
February 7? That's odd, Nintendo doesn't usually release games on Mondays.
Then again, I'm one of the three people who really enjoyed Sluggers Wii.Make that four people. I've played Mario Super Sluggers more than New Super Mario Brothers Wii and Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 combined. Unfortunately that's also one of the games that has spoiled me for a large roster, so I don't know if I can go back to the basic dozen.
anyone know what the motion controls are like for the different sports? From accounts I've heard, every action besides running is done by a flick of the Wiimote.
