Title: Um, THQ FTW with uDraw?!
Post by: BranDonk Kong on October 20, 2010, 06:08:30 PM
I was looking for something else and stumbled upon this (http://www.joystiq.com/2010/10/20/udraw-preview/) - didn't read too much, but it makes me yearn for a new Mario Paint.

I own Mario Paint but I can't play it because it requires a mouse. :( But I am slightly surprised Nintendo hasn't made a drawing game on the Wii yet, either as a part of the Wii series or a new Mario Paint, it seems like it could be a hit with the expanded audience.

I'm pretty sure that this has been mentioned before.

Really, for about the same price as that peripheral, you could purchase a decent entry-level Wacom pad. Then you'd be in business on your PC  with whatever graphics program you wanted! :)

I'm not usually one to agree with Morari, but in this case he's right. It'd be a much better value to get a PC tablet, which would have practical uses in addition to almost certainly better versions of the software included with this.

...but this is a video game for the Wii. I'm thinking Mario Paint, not professional-level graphic design.

More importantly Wacom has a patent on the one technology that's good. The other tablets suck in comparison simply because they have to use inferior technology.
