To help us to celebrate International Talk Like A Pirate Day this September 19, 2K Games have provided three copies of Sid Meier's Pirates! for Wii to give away to our swashbuckling readers. The accent and vernacular you'll have to work on yourself.
The Wii title is a refreshed version of the PC strategy game from 2004. While it has been re-released on several platforms, the Wii version includes motion controls and new minigames.
To be in with a chance of a copy all you have to do is write a caption for one or more of the three screenshots below.

Image 3We will pick our favourite caption for each screenshot as a prize winner, but each entrant can only win up to one copy of the game. So to increase your chances, send in captions for all three, but it's not necessary for your entry to be considered. Don't worry though if you're just not enough of a pirate, the game is released on October 5 2010.

Those are some pretty impressive screenshots!
Maybe I'm just being cynical, but they all look like they're taken from cinematics.

Those screenshots look just like the PC version, and that's fine with me. They're not prerendered cutscenes but they are partially scripted.

I have played the PC version a lot, and the dude on the left in the third one is supposed to look like the dude in the first one. Did they add extra faces to choose from or something?

it's just begging for a good penis joke. & them both being guys automatically steers it into a gay joke as well.

I don't think there were any runners-up after filtering for aforementioned gay and phallic jokes.

I'm disappointed enough people sent in entries that weren't gay or phallic jokes that you were able to award a prize for each picture.

It's funny that not enough not gay or phallic entries were made for runner ups considering only one of my 4 entries were in that category....
My first entry(pic #1) was a Menace to Society reference
Don't really remember my second (pic #2), but it was pirate related
Don't remember the 1st entry for the 3rd pic, but my 2nd entry for the 3rd pic was a reference to a Beyonce song.
something along the lines of
"I see you looking at my booty*, but if you like it you should put a ring on it.
*Arrrgh booty because everyone knows a pirate loves booty
