Activision has annouced the GoldenEye 007 Classic Edition bundle for Wii, including an exclusive gold Classic Controller Pro packed with the game. Inspired by the 1974 Bond film "The Man with the Golden Gun", the bundle will be available at the game's launch this autumn for $69.99.
GoldenEye 007 for Wii will support the Classic Controller Pro, Wii Remote and Nunchuk, and also the Wii Zapper to give a variety of control schemes from the familiar to the uncommon. The game, developed by Eurocom, features a brand-new single-player mode in addition to splitscreen multiplayer, as well as online multiplayer.
I wonder if this is a show of no-confidence in the motion controls of Goldeneye 007. Or maybe it shows how strongly Eurocom is building the game for fans of the previous game. Anyway, this is a far more useful limited edition pack-in than most of the other stuff they pack-in these days.
Vega there wasn't a price listed in the press release. So I don't know where you are getting info.
Ian it doesn't say that the controller will not be sold seperately.
I wonder if this is a show of no-confidence in the motion controls of Goldeneye 007.Yeah, I'm hoping that the Wiimote control isn't poor due to the focus on making the game a "classic." If there's one thing the Wii controller does well, it's shooters.
Maybe it was added later, but the article clearly states the price point of $70. Other sites are reporting the same thing. When viewed from the forums, the price point is not mentioned. Perhaps this is NWR's subtle way of encouraging people to visit the front page?

So updating the article doesn't update the forum post, and editing a forum post doesn't update the article page. There's still a ways to go as far as integrating the site and forums. (Not a complaint. Just an observation.)For the first, it does, but somebody must have forgotten to press the update button. I'll make it automatic.
Is it me or does the lady holding the controller have tiny hands?

For the second, it does too, but there's a cache, so there's a delay before the comments appear. I'll be tuning this better.
