Title: Literally stuck in GS:TLA!!!!

I'm in SW Atteka Island (the little island on the edge of the the southwestern edge of the world below Atteka). I did the little puzzle here and got the Dragon Skin on the ledge by the waterfall. I was tired last night when I got it, so I saved on the ledge and turned off my GBA. I was playing again today and noticed I can't hop onto the box to get to the shore from the wooden pillar I'm in. I know I'm supposed to- I jumped the other way just fine. But I can't seem to get back and I'm quite literally stuck in the game. I've tried every type of psynergy I have and nothing works at all (not even Retreat). Can someone PLEASE help me- I've spent 24 hours playing this game and I REALLY don't want to lose all the progress.
Also, please don't tell me to look at a guide. There's only one guide on GameFAQs that goes far enough to where I'm at and it's for the Japanese version (on top of that, it doesn't mention anything even remotely similar to the island I'm on).

I remember this happening at the gamefaqs message board, they never posted if they got out but someone said you can warp back to the nearest sanctum somehow but I forgot. It might be in the instruction booklet.

dbc: Sanctum, that's it! I remember in the first Golden Sun I was a little bummed because I beat the game without completing all of Crossbone Isle. Unfortunatley, I had saved ON the Venus Lighthouse. Then it hit me- if I fight the boss and die, I'll appear at the nearest Sanctum, outside of the Lighthouse. All I really have to do now, though, is figure out how to kill my entire party without any enemies to do it for me.

I finally got unstuck with the help of someone of IGN who goes by the name of caterman. He told me that if you hold L+Start+Select on the Continue screen then select your file with A, it will transport your party to the last Sanctum you visited. I'm assuming that's what you were talking about dbc. I'm just glad I'm unstuck.
BTW, this was my 800th post! Schwing!

Doing that wouldn't help me because I haven't had to visit a sanctum so far in the game. But I keep two running save files so I always have one to use as back up if I get stuck or forgot to get something that I might not be able to get again. But at least I know not to do what you did. I am at the part where I go to the Shaman Village, but I haven't played in a couple days because I had to play the new Castlevania game to completion and now I am more than halfway through with Shining Soul.
