Lots of videos showcasing the early parts of Metroid: Other M.

As well as yesterday's trailer, a series of videos from Metroid: Other M reveal the early parts of the game. There are seven gameplay trailers showing a mini-boss, the biosphere style "Sector 1", visor battling, and fighting in corridors. Cutscenes from the beginning of the game have also been released, showing the events that happened prior to the beginning of Other M.

You can find the videos embedded below, or on our Youtube channel.

I didn't watch any of the movies outside the two e3 trailers because I don't want any spoilers. Anyway I'm glad Nintendo is not shy about showing off the game. I guess they learned a lesson from Metroid Prime 3 and how that game had almost no coverage until it released.

Gameplay clips 3, 4 & 5 make me hope that Nintendo has forced a control fix by allowing nunchuck support. Why constantly flip the controller around when I can just hold it that way the entire time?

Because if you're holding it like you would with the nunchuk, you could very easily just happen to point at the screen which would stick you in first-person when you didn't want to be.

That could easily be fixed by a toggle button.
