Title: How to skin a cat?

In honor of Mop it up's furry friend, I think we should take a stab at answering the age-old question: exactly how many ways are there to skin a cat? Let's see who can come up with the most original method.
No Rube Goldberg machines though, all that matters is the actual act of skinning. Using some random contraption to make a knife cut in the normal manner, for instance, is not a new method.
I've been doing a bit of research on the subject, and besides the obvious method some other proposed solutions: belt sander can opener squeeze it centrifugal force vacuum cleaner

Anyone have suggestions on how to skeletize a subadult mouse without letting the bones get damaged or boil away? 'Cause my friend gave me one. It's in the freezer. Body completely intact--it probably died by ingesting poison.
Anyway. Mouse bones are usually quite small and brittle. If I tear the body apart manually, it's probable that I'll break bones, especially ribs and long bones. If I boil the meat away, I'm afraid that I'll lose half the skeleton.

How my uncle does it has he a bed of flesh eating beetles that strip away the meat and leave only bone.

My dog could skin a mouse pretty efficiently. I saw him tossing something furry around the yard and discovered it was a mouse. He threw it up into the air and when it landed he just stood there looking at it like he was waiting for it to run so he could give chase. He got all puzzled when it did not start running again. When I inspected the mouse all that was left was a little fur coat. No bones, no guts, looked ready for the living room floor of a little gnome.

A friend suggested placing the corpse in a yogurt cup, then punching holes on the outside big enough for ants to crawl in, then burying it up to the surface of the ground.

And what? Be able to pull the lid off at any time to see how the ants are progressing? Or stick a small webcam in it with night vision... that's be cool to get a time lapse video.
