I'm impressed.  That's a lot of crap.

You should make a video of you standing by yourself in a desolate corner of your house singing and playing one of these games.

I'd watch it. :)

Also, is that dandruff at the bottom of the pic or powdered donut residue? Inquiring minds would like to know. :)

White paint droplets, actually.

Or crack.

Didn't these games have game-only versions?

AFAIK, no. Even the third DS Guitar Hero game did not have a game-only version. Of coarse, none of these are playable on DSi or DSi XL systems since the accessories require the GBA slot (well, I don't know if you can play the drums/singing parts in Band Hero).

Guitar Hero On-Tour and Decades both had cart-only releases (although On-Tour's cart-only release wasn't until Decades came out).  Modern Hits and Band Hero (and Easy Piano) did not have cart-only releases.

Band Hero's Drum Mode (without using the drum pad, of course), Mic mode and Easy Piano can all be played without any attachments (Easy Piano has an optional touch screen keyboard to play) and thus can be played on any generation DS.

Why do I have all four Guitar Hero games from the bundles?
Well, I bought the first one shortly after it came out (on sale for $29.99 too!)

Bought the other three for $50.
Then got $40 Gift Cards on each of them.

Some really stupid retailer was doing a promo this past Christmas - buy "Any Guitar Hero, Band Hero or Tony Hawk: Ride Bundle, get a $40 Gift Card".  Tons of signs posted everywhere.

After talking to a few managers, I managed to get them to honor the deal that said "Any". :)

Funny part is, they rang up the Gift Card first, then asked "Do you want to just use this gift card on these games?"  Well, yeah. ;)

Ya know, that Piano add-on threw me for a loop. I honestly was thinking "did they release a Guitar Hero game that uses such a thing for a portable system?". It's a good thing that I've now watched Andy's video review of Easy Piano, and my mind is at peace.

lol.  It was just random coincidence that his review and my post went up at almost the same time.

And once you buy Rock Band 3, you get another fake piano! Congratulations!

Not if you buy the "Pro" version as that will come with a keyboard that can be used with regular amps. :)
