I think I already posted about it somewhere around here.

The fact that you've been waiting for it cracks me up to no end.

I felt somewhat sick after seeing the trailer a while back.
Why would you watch, or make this film?

I've was on a gross out horror film streak for a while, but on a break now.
I regret watching some, but most of them are just bad. not just in the fake looking effects, but the movies themselves seemed to only exist for those certain scenes and had no other redeeming quality to them.
Human Centipede was the latest in that genre during the time I was trying to watch them all, so it's been on my list for quite some time now.

There is also a sequel to this movie planned
Quote from: wiki
On 19 October 2009 it was announced a sequel, titled The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) has been planned for theaters in 2011. Full Sequence will supposedly include a centipede composed of twelve individuals.
This was originally envisioned as a trilogy.

If you thought the Human Centipede was bad (sounded worse than it was), then you are really gonna be disgusted by the sequel, which was just banned in the UK
Quote
The principal focus of The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) is the sexual arousal of the central character at both the idea and the spectacle of the total degradation, humiliation, mutilation, torture, and murder of his naked victims. Examples of this include a scene early in the film in which he masturbates whilst he watches a DVD of the original Human Centipede film, with sandpaper wrapped around his penis, and a sequence later in the film in which he becomes aroused at the sight of the members of the ‘centipede’ being forced to defecate into one another’s mouths, culminating in sight of the man wrapping barbed wire around his penis and raping the woman at the rear of the ‘centipede’. There is little attempt to portray any of the victims in the film as anything other than objects to be brutalised, degraded and mutilated for the amusement and arousal of the central character, as well as for the pleasure of the audience.
O.M.G.
Day 1
I would add to my Netflix list, but they will likely never carry it. TBH I feel a little sick top my stomach just thinking about what the sequel is talking about, but I really would watch it anyway... if it were ever released on DVD.

The Human Centipede was boring. It wasn't gross or shocking, it was just boring. I can't imagine the sequel will be much more.

I disagree - the original was surprisingly awesome. I agree that it wasn't gross or shocking. In fact, I've told many people that, aside from the subject matter, it was actually done quite tastefully. The doctor gives an awesome performance - and the entire movie is a mind-phuck.
With that said, I'm not sure I want to see the second one. Where the first one handled things tastefully, this second one seems to be going the complete opposite direction.
Also, I actually went into a porn store last night and bought a copy of Batman XXX. Haven't watched it yet - it has a sex free edit on it... should be interesting. :D

There's a PG Porn edit?
That will be good for a "OMG that was almost really uncomfortable" laugh when you pop the disc in when friends come over.

I have seen other porn movies have R-rated versions (don't think any have PG versions), the most famous probably being the 2005 porn Pirates (which was supposedly the most expensive porn ever made, with a budget of $1 million).
Not sure I see the point though, no one watches porn for the story.

Yeah. I immediately thought of Pirates as well. I guess the general cinematography was above average, but it certainly wasn't worth watching without the already mundane sex scenes.

i find it crazy that things can still be banned in the UK

I watched it today. I started watching the full movie, but during the first actual sex scene, I just went to the sex-free version. I'm not adverse to seeing sex or anything like that... it's just.. well, seeing the Riddler, in full costume, having sex... yeah... no thanks.
The movie was pretty awesome. While it was obviously *not* an episode of the TV series, it really did a great job of parodying the old show. I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone who wasn't familiar with the series though... they'd really be lost.
