Title: Casual vs Hardcore in Life
Post by: D_Average on April 27, 2010, 08:43:46 PM
So I was swimming the other day, and I thought to myself, "Self, swimming is great, but I'm no pro, I'm just a casual swimmer. And I'm ok with that".
That got me thinkin, what other activities am I casual at and what activities am I hardcore at? Here's a few off the top of the ole dome:
Casual: Mountain Biking Roller Blading Free-styling Running Following the NBA Playing the drums Eating Watermelon Reading Working Playing the drums Visiting the Midwest Talking to random strangers Raving Listening to Prince
Hardcore: Video Games! (obviously) Surfing the World Wide Web Listening to podcasta Thinking about women when I'm all by myself Entertainging my cats Writing songs Taking lots of medicine Listening to albums all the way through Eating Chips Drinking Mountain Dew NWR Forum Interaction
So what say you NWR forumers???

I should add keeping myself alive to my list. Sounds important. And just what does your Dinosaur habit involve? Lots of reading? Watching documentaries? Whats your theory on why they all died off? Fun fact. I have a friend that looks like a Raptor.

Soooo...elongate muzzle, recurved teeth, S-shaped neck, big claw on the index toe? Cool.
"Dinosaurs" involves research, correspondence with people in the field, drawing, writing about, and arguing with colleagues regarding.

Casual: sex Hardcore: gay sex
Seriously, me and my friend were discussing who was more metal: Rob Halford (Judas Priest) or Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden), and I pointed out that by default Halford was, because having gay sex is about the most metal thing someone can actually do.

Glad I'm not into metal.... never have been, and now I know I never will be.
