Title: Casting Couch........ Casting Call - Lights, Camera, Action!!

It's very simple. Pick a movie and cast it. Take an existing movie and recast it, take an existing series/property and cast it for a reboot, bring a popular franchise to the theater and cast it or take a movie of your own and cast it.
If it's a well known movie or property, then maybe casting is all you need, if it's something you came up with on your own, maybe you add some plot and/or character description.
Either way, your movie, your cast, your call.
Who's wants to go first?
I'll start us off with an easy idea to get into(or you can choose one of your own). Lets Reboot X-Men for the Bigscreen.

Professor X - Patrick Stewart (already perfectly cast) Beast - Kelsey Grammer (already perfectly cast)
Who would you cast for the rest of the roles?
Gambit, Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Iceman, Rogue, Colossus, Magneto, The Brotherhood, etc. etc.

I think they should do another live-action TMNT movie. Use CG turtles if you have to, but assuming suitman technology has evolved since the 90's, I imagine suitman actors would be just fine. Baxter Stockman and his army of Mousers could be the villain.
You'd really only have to cast two big-name actors. One for Baxter and one for April.

i hated the lil wimp they got for gambit in Origins. I'd put Clive Owen in that bitch, even if he's a lil older.

I think it would be coo if there was a new Batman TV show Obviously it would be a more modern take than the Adam West show, an id have it on Showtime with an hour format, that way it can get the depth I wanted. If i were to hire the writing crew, id get the same people who did Batman: TAS. Because it is on Showtime and because there is no censorship it would be possible to go pretty deep with plots that couldn't be done before. Also, because of the episodic format it gives guest stars shedule flexibility
I don't know who I would have play Batman, he'd have to be an unknown and audition well. If i can't find who I want I would just go with Matthew Fox
but for Villains I have a clearer idea on who would be good

Funny. I just read that Batman 3 (after Batman Begins & TDK) will be the end of a Trilogy. I was gonna suggest we cast the next batman series of movies, but a Weekly Cable show sounds even better.

Okay, okay, let's not get crazy here. Batman casting is near and dear to me. A premium cable one hour drama would work really well.

I wouldn't pick him as the Joker, but he was pretty crazy in that movie Party Mosnster, not Joker Crazy, but I'm sure he could ramp it up into something passable.
He'd probably make a better Harley Quinn though

I've got a little twist on this topic.
How about we name an actor/actress and then put them in the perfect role for them.
For example, if I named Will Smith, what would be the perfect role for him to play?

Get outta here. They made the last one GC because it was actually cheaper to produce than live-action. But if what you say is true, I will FILL the cup.

I auditoned for it infront of Ernie Reyes Jr. I just learned a new routine like a week before, started off strong, then I drew a blank, and couldn't believe it. Oh well live and learn.

Now that they've rebooted Star Trek, who should play Khan?
Nobody. There's no reason to do Khan again. They should stick to original stories, and even if they're going to remake something there are far better episodes to remake than Space Seed, which is very overrated just because it spawned Wrath of Khan.

That's hideous, but strangely appealing.
Looks like they're going ALL THE WAY BACK to the old Eastman & Laird concept art. IF this is legit, which I doubt it is.
I think the best live-action designs were the ones in the second movie. Yeah, the heads were too big, but that was a constraint of the design (somebody's head + lots of moving parts in there). If they went CG, they could shrink up the noggin. Don't know if I like the overly scaley look, but I'm definately interested.

i liked the CG turtles movie particularly the fight between raph and leo, didnt particularly like the designs of people. That being said i preferred the original movies...a combination of live action and CG would be sweet. Not too much CG though..unless it looks really good.
