Can someone help me win over ShyGuy? He's so mysterious, I'll bet he's actually hiding a handsome face underneath that mask. He just doesn't have the confidence to remove it. He's so shy he won't even talk with me. How do I approach him?

Making Shyguy uncomfortable gets a nod from me, while this thread still is horrible, it is better then everything else posted. So it gets a nomination from me.

That depends, does it come with a side of rice and the choice of soup or salad? What kind of sauce is it glazed with and is there some bread and butter to start the meal off with?

I kind of regarded this thread as sell-trolling, so I left it alone. Now I'm inclined to make one for you in the hopes that the funhaus natives will run with it and I finally have an excuse to exorcise the demons that permeate this folder.

Toruresu lives in Puerto Rico? For some reason I thought he was on the mainland USA. Maybe I mixed him up with some other persons location. Thought he was on the east coast. Is Puerto Rico in the same time zone as the east coast?

Huh, I did not realize that.
I assume that means you know Spanish, Toruresu? Could I practice my Spanish with you when we play online? I'm just about good enough to take someones order in Spanish. There is a huge Hispanic community in out town so I've been trying to learn it since we get a lot of people calling or coming in and knowing little to no English.

"media naranja" is a phrase, you translated the individual words, not the phrase. The literal translation would be "sock orange" but the phrase is like "soul mate".

That's funny you say it is orange sock. My gf said it literally translates to something like orange slice. She's from Guatemala so maybe it's slightly different there. Or her accent is so thick I misheard 'sock' as 'slice'. Just checked Google translate and they say it means 'better half' which I would say is an appropriate meaning in English. Reminds me of a country song.

I talked to my gf today and I guess I misunderstood 'orange slice'. She actually says it means 'orange half' which does go along with the whole better half thing.
Google seems to think that middle, half and sock are all the same/similar word in Spanish.
The forum description could be along the lines of "NWR's better half" considering the meaning of the phrase.

i've never heard "better half" in spanish so i have no idea what it translates to. If i had to use the term, i'd probably end up saying the literall translation of "the better part of me"
looking back, i realize (for the first time) that "media" means both half and sock lol. I can't believe i never noticed.. "hora y media" isn't and "hour & a half" its "hour & sock!" hahahaha

At work I mistakenly call hot wings 'caliente pollo' which means hawt/horny chicken. Now the chicas just laugh when I say it and I start clucking like a chicken really loud. It's become an inside joke of sorts and the non-latino crew just kinda smile and nod at us.
They should be called 'alas picante' or hot (spicy) wings.
