I think you guys should have started up a new game and played for only 32 seconds to see what would have happened..... only to be fair, haha.

I thought about that, but 32 seconds in NHL '94 equates to about 15 real seconds. Hardly enough time to get anything done (possible, but improbable).

I maintain that if the game hadn't frozen I would have tied it up and won in overtime, but that really isn't backed up by what happened in our second and third matches. Also, if we'd been playing NHL 96, the one I have real experience with, I'd have destroyed you.

I have some experience with NHL '94, but NHL '95 is my real forte. I might have played NHL '96, but I probably had it for SNES and it was ****. NHL '98 for PS1 was awful.

Actually, I slapped the table. I wish I had done it just before the puck went in.

I guess that's one reason why I haven't upgraded hockey games, I love the wackiness of Eric Lindros getting hit in the head 10 times and no-selling it.

What I love about NHL 94-96 is that there are very well-defined ways to score, and very well-defined ways to prevent being scored on. NHL 10 is amazing, but I never quite feel like I dictate everything that happens on the ice.

Hello Everyone,
I have played NHL-94 and 95. I loved it... ;)
I want to play NHL-96, Can any one tell me, from where i can download online :confused; Thanks
Yeah, we don't endorse emulation here. We don't get into the morality of it; we just don't encourage it at all.
Uh-oh, boss-man shows. This is going to hurt my credibility in the funhaus when they find you're not dead.

I find it funny that this happened immediately after I specifically decided not to post about how I play these old Genesis sports games via emulation on my Wii in order to avoid the hassles involved in playing my actual Genesis.
