Mafia Party Day 2: Pirate Land
The game started as usual. Things seemed to be going pleasantly well and the players took their turns and moved across the rainbow path towards the goal. Suddenly things took a turn for the worse.Yoshi, eager to help his friends weed out the Koopa Kid impostors, made claim that he was none other than Wendy Koopa the Godfather of the Koopa Gang.Instead of having the desired effect, it causes all of the other players to grow weary of him. More and more people began to suspect him of being an impostor. Yoshi tried to explain, but everyone's mind seemed to be made up.They put it to a vote and things were looking grim for the green dinosaur. Asif to add insult to injury, a Ballot Box was tossed at Yoshi, altering his vote to count towards himself! The poor dinosaur, stunned by the turn of events -and the blow to his noggin by the box- Yoshi staggered off of the edge of the rainbow board and fell to his doom. The last thing that crossed his mind was a surreal recollection of a similar incident where Mario jumped off of his back once to reach a hidden area and also letting Yoshi plunge to his doom."How had I escaped that conundrum?" Yoshi lackadaisically mused to himself, "perhaps that will happen again when-" SPLAT! The other players crept to the edge of the board. Wario pulled out a jewel encrusted golden telescope and peered down at the fallen form. But no magical guise vanished to reveal a Koopaling. "It was-a the real Yoshi," Everyone was silent for a moment before Tumble took charge. "OK, guys, we had an accident, but we can still press on! In light of this we are relocating to anew board! I hope you brought your eye patches and drunken pirate accents,'cause we're headed for Pirate Land next!" Before anyone could say anything else they were swept up by a wind and blown into the pipe leading to Pirate Land
Meanwhile, back on the rainbow path, a portly MKPD investigator was still wandering around looking for suspicious Koopa-like activity. He came across a pile of fresh, green melons, Yoshi's favorite, and waddled over to them excitedly. As he picked up the first melon he heard a click as a Bullet Bill burst from the blocks nearby and struck him head-on.From the shadows grumbles could be heard from Wendy Koopa who simmered over her plan not going the way she had initially desired even if the end goal had been achieved.

Thatguy (Townie) 20 coins, no stars - Eliminated by vote
~~ I will be re-stating the Boo role because of the confusion regarding how it works. Update to come shortly on that matter. But I just didn't do it this time because people seemed to have the wrong idea about how it worked. So no coins lost or anything stolen.

I think stealing stars from the host is a great idea. I'm totally going to add it to the next version of Mafia Party down the line.
But yeah, the host has no stars. Tumble is broke...he spent it all on booze.

Tumble steals them from Toadsworth. Tumble also keeps a few for himself as payment. Toadsworth doesn't know so don't tell him please.

It is curious that the godmother didn't send in a hit. I looked who was online yesterday and everybody playing was online yesterday so that means that the godmother wasn't around isn't a valid reason for no hit.

Oh my mistake. Looks like Windy Koopa went after thatguy. So judging by this it means that the godfather wasn't around during the end of the day to see the results of the day.

Unclebob the townies remaining are 7 to the Mafia's 4. As long as the townies participate they can't be overwhelmed by votes.

Woah - I'm an idiot (to be fair, I had to get up super-early to bring my car in to the shop)... I thought there were seven players left, 4 being Mafia.
Of course, now y'all will think I'm just 'playing dumb' and that I'm really Mafia.
I promise I'm not.
We townies need to get it together though. One bad vote for the townies and one successful mafia hit puts us at 5:4. We don't want to go there.

While I hate to do it, I have to agree with the RAB vote. Only two people weren't around late in the day to know how the vote went down and that was RAB and Nickmitch. Of those two, based on past history, I think RAB would be more likely to hit Thatguy than Nickmitch. So, as much as I hate to do it since I'd rather work with him than oppose him, I've got to do it.

Oh, I remember voting for you now. As for being guilty again, you haven't been proven innocent yet and after yesterday, you still fit the profile. That said, I did post that I think you are less suspicious than RAB at the moment. Take the peace of mind for a day. I wouldn't protest letting me change my mind from you to RAB.

Yeah. I can't tell if the Nickmitch vote is a bad attempt at the mafia trying to start a bandwagon away from RAB or if it is just bad play.

Well that was a strange night. I find it a little too coincidental that the Mafia would try to hit Thatguy. Something doesn't sit right about that.

I'm just trying to use the townie roll to the best of my ability. There is 3 members of the mafia that can be identified by the investigation. So it is wise to use the tools we have to find some.

LOL allright so now I'm reading up one why people are voting for me. So some guy, no, thatguy, claimed to be Mafia and said he was going to hit me tonight. So now because he turned out to NOT be mafia I must surely BE mafia since he was aligned against me. Right.

Nice to see I still stayed up. Why can't I walk away from the game? And has Dasmos decided his skills are not for hire? These are questions that can hopefully be answered tomorrow.
