We could do one where all of the songs are separated by the game they are in so it would force them to fight each other first and then we'll be left with a better variety than mostly Zelda songs in the final brackets.

I think it would be fun to do a music battle with just Mega Man music. Dr. Wily's Castle Theme from Mega Man 2 is not the greatest piece of music to have come from a Mega Man game!

I'd like to see divisions either broken out by system or by first vs. third party (or a combination of both) just so the newer games and underdogs don't get creamed by first party NES/SNES games right off the bat.

That, or maybe limit the whole competition to one system, generation, developer, publisher, genre, franchise, or whatever other divisions might make sense.
