Title: Picross 3D Hands-On Footage

It looks like Nintendo has another winning puzzler on it hands.

 Our own Aaron Kaluszka had a chance to play the upcoming DS puzzle game Picross 3D at Nintendo's Media Summit this week.    

Here he plays through some simple puzzles, showing off the game's unique 3D puzzle-solving gameplay.    

   

Picross 3D is scheduled for a May 2010 release in North America.

It looks more playable and understandable than expected, actually. Seems very satisfying to smash the blocks rather than just put an X into a square.
