X-scape looks like kind of like Battletanks (the wireframe tanks game. I feel like I have the name wrong), but on acid.

And ditto what Jonny said about Rotozoa.

And that Super Mario Galaxy 2 trailer makes me smile like a happy child.

X-scape is a sign that DS needs an upgrade soon if the only way they could make fast paced 3D action game that moved smoothly and didn't look muddy, they had to take it back to vector graphics.

These new Art Style games look awesome.

Light Trax is based on one of the remaining Bit Generations games, though it adds some new perspectives and maybe other things. I played Windy's copy of the original and didn't like it at all, despite the cool visuals.

You mean Battlezone?

X-Scape is Battlezone + Star Fox.  It's made by Q Games, which has had quite a bit of Star Fox involvement, and it shows.  Actually, it's probably similar to the Japan-only Game Boy game called X, but I haven't spent a lot of time playing that game.

Vector graphics are cheaper than proper graphics so maybe it's a cost saving measure too.

It's definitely a style choice.  It very much reminded me of X / SNES Star Fox.
