I guess I'll go first. So far I've recieved nothing gaming related since I pretty much purchased any game anyone would have thought I would've wanted when all the sales where going on.
So what did I get?
I got a Jawbone bluetooth earpiece for my cell phone. It's pretty damn nice. I always wanted one, but couldn't justify the $125 price tag for an ear piece.
What did I give? Well so far I've only given my girl a new Wok. She thinks that's it, but there are other things she asked for waiting for her at my mom's house. A slow cooker and a upscaling DVD player for her new LCD tv.
I got my mom EA Sports Active: More Workouts, and I was gonna get her a deep fryer, but I couldn't order it due to circumstances detailed in an other thread.
I also got a digital camera, a limbo set, 2 sets of books and a Disney Princess Castle alarm clock for little kids.
Last but not least, payed the cable bill for my sister for the month of Dec.
Overall, I spent more than I meant to, and
and that's pretty much all worth mentioning at this point. I still have to go by my mom's house so I hope to update this thread with something afterwards.

Most years I don't get many games since I buy them all myself, but this year I was broke so I loaded up my Amazon wish list with stuff. Aside from gift cards, cologne, etc. I scored:
I also got a 60-Day time card for Aion. My backlog is even more absurd now.

Ok, for you guys to get why my Christmas haul was funny, you need a bit of setup: for the better part of a year now I've been having problem with my LCD HD TV I use to play my Wii and PS3 games. It's an Olevia model, and apparently it has a manufacturer defect (note: it's over 6 years old now, anyway) where the power supply fluctuates when turned on. This makes the TV sometimes just refuse to turn on until repeated attempts.
Fast-forward to today, and the big gift today was that my parents gave me their old 40-50 in. HD TV. The thing's huge, and as a result I had to move my LCD HD TV into my room along with the desk it was sitting on. Here's the ironic thing, though: the TV's huge, but because it's old it doesn't have an HDMI input. This means my PS3 will have to stay with my "little" TV back in my room, making that TV probably the biggest TV I've ever seen to be dedicated pretty much exclusively to playing Wii games. :P: :
Other stuff I got today:
-"UP" DVD (already have the Blu-Ray, so this is getting sold off) -"Happy Feet" DVD (gift from my sister. Never seen it). -A Cowboy Bebop "Spike" figurine -The Battlestar Galactica Mini-series soundtrack -A really rotten-smelling bar of "designer" soap (gift from my sister. She works in a store that sells them.) -Some tuna (yes, I am being dead serious). -Some nice shirts -New Super Mario Bros. Wii -Dead Space: Extraction (yeah, I already bought and traded that one in a couple weeks ago. I put it on my X-mas list expecting it would get ignored) -Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles (see above, though I still have and intend to keep that one) -New graphics card for my severely outdated desktop computer -a TV tuner for my desktop computer to let it act as a DVR. -Zorro - Season 1 DVD set (yay!) -Zorro - Season 2 DVD set (double yay!)
So yeah, a nice haul...if more than a little ironic in places. ;)

Modern Warfare 2 (360), a bunch of shirts...and $1500. Not too bad, I suppose.

I got new belts and a new pair of jeans, and warm snuggly socks.
I've shelled out $700 in cash as gifts, aside from other neat little items to friends & family. Actually, I've given stuff to friends and family throughout the year. Doodads likes cables, adapters, flashlights, laptop accessories, lots of useful electronics-related thingies.
For myself, besides games/dvds/electronics, I've spent over a grand in paintball/milsim gear since the summer.

I got a bunch of great stuff (though no games; I bought a ton of them this year, I counted over 60, so there weren't any left by the time Christmas came around), but my two favorites are definitely my wireless headphones and my fancy leatherbound copy of the Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy trilogy.
I also did pretty well with giving gifts; two of the people I gave to asked for what I gave them after I'd already bought it for them. Nintendo's blue ocean was a hit in my family;my cousin got a Wii and my Dad got a DS, and I bought a copy of Hotel Dusk for my aunt who got a DS earlier this year and has been tearing through the Zeldas and Professors Layton.

I got Boom Blox Bash Party, Spirit Tracks and Bowser's Inside Story...too bad my DS is still MIA :P: Looks like I'm buying a DSi before the year ends.
Also got a new backpack, nice jacket and some cologne from my girlfriend.

I got $30! SCORE!!!
Actually, objectively it seems small, I remember Christmases with much bigger monetary gains, plus material goods, but I really didn't expect anything at all this Christmas, so this is $30 more than I know what to do with.
Actually, no, that's a lie. I immediately went online and spent $45 on Picross DS and a Sudoku DS game for myse... my MOM. Yes.

My niece also got a Wii, along with Mario Kart Wii. I hope she can get online with it, but they may be "borrowing" somebody's wireless at her place so I'm not sure.

Yo Halbred. You ever read Dinotopia?

Let me know how you like Assassin's Creed 2, Zach. Maybe one day I'll play AC1, which is buried in my backlog.

Kairon, seriously? Who are you talking to, sir? I effing LOVE Dinotopia and its sequels. I even played the adventure game on the PC back in the day.
Lindy, I haven't touched AC2 yet (my backlog is huge) but everybody I know who owns it says it's worlds better than the first game. However, I really enjoyed the first game, and it's not particularly long if you're not interested in collecting all the flags in each city (which I was).

It doesn't look like it's made with an actual burlap sack nor a working zipper.

Me and my bro gave each other our favorite games to play on XBox live, and then we bumped fists like true bros.
