Title: Beat Ikaruga yet? (... yeah right haha)
Post by: telaris on April 22, 2003, 05:07:15 PM: Hey for anyone whos bought the game, (and if you havent GET IT!) How far are you guys? I've just barely made it to the fourth chapter. ITS SO FARKIN HARD. Post any tactics or help you could give me. Thanks

Damn intense stuff, especially the Metroid-esque finale (you'll see). But since it was Japanese the odd thematic/aesthetically-oxymoronic (you'll see) ending was completely lost on us.

it took a long time- a very long time
basically once i got the unlimited continues i could do it- by going on 2 player mode with my friend and wasting at least 25 continues each
oh yeah- the game is so hard- yet so satisfying
it has to be the best shooter i have played ever
its too much fun to put down yet so hard
i dont think i will beat it by myself using only one continue any time soon though- thats asking too much of one singular human

Nope, that was the Japanese ending too, but at least you could read that paragraph at the end, right?

WishI got it sooner.

As far as I have gotten with about 30 minutes to one hour of trying is the boss on level 2.
He keeps whooping me.

this is if you need a break from the toughness from Ikaruga, cause these games arent that hard, but fun
