Title: A+ Certification
Post by: manunited4eva22 on April 21, 2003, 02:47:14 PM
Hey, I have been working towards getting my A+ certification and was wondering if any of you can recommend another book for me to pick up. I have been taking a few practice exams and have been getting out with 80 percent on average, but would like to improve my score. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Hey, I am A+ certified and the two main study tools that I used were pratice tests from www.certify.com and I also bought an A+ certification for dummies book. In my opinon, both of these resources are more then fine and since I do not know what your knowledge level is the A+ for dummies book would be a solid first choice. Good luck on geting A+ certified.

How much does that test cost anyways? I would like to take it, but I am not sure if I can afford it.

It just says that you know how to use a computer. It's useful for getting computer related jobs.
KnowsNothing, a computer geek and a video game geek are often one and the same.

A+ certification deals more with troubleshooting basic problems than with knowledge of using computers.
Examples of problems: Effects of power surges and other electrical related problems, basic information of buses (PCI, AGP, USB, etc), hardware errors, driver issues.
