Do what now? I don't want to have a tourney, I just want to get together to play so it doesn't matter who joins. The official tourney will be sometime in January like CrashMan said.

I was thinking either 3PM-6PM or 6PM-9PM Pacific time. Or even just that whole period from 3-9 being open. I'll probably be on personally from 5-7ish or later depending on turnout.

LOL...no, not anymore. Just a little queasy in the stomach. But I think that is from too many french fries.
I only meant to have one margarita, but we ordered a lot of wings and I finished my 1st drink when we still had half the plate to go so I couldn't say no to more :rolleyes:

Sorry, I couldn't find a working pen to write it down. Figures it happens when I actually need it. I feel like a kid again writting down huge 'save' codes in old games that didn't have real save files.
I actually thought you only got turbos from properly landed jumps. I've never played an ExciteBike game.
I would gift you the NES game but I think this game is better.Maybe when Excitebike 64 comes out I'll gift you that. ExciteTrucks and Excitebots are similar in that the landing mechanic is the same. In ExciteTrucks and Excitebots you try to get the most stars by doing tricks.

Ah I see. So you weren't exaggerating then? That was really your first time playing? Pretty good then, you took first a couple of times.
The basics: Use Turbo until you're about to overheat. Drive over a red arrow to completely cool your engine. Lay off both turbo and the accelerator when you're in the air to cool your engine a bit. Line your wheels up with the ground to land without reducing speed. Land perfectly on the other side of a ramp for a "smooth landing" bonus. Perform a wheelie just before going off a ramp to jump farther. Hit opponents with your back wheel to wreck them.

You should send me some custom tracks for next time we play. I liked the 'Dan' one best.

Since I only have the one track unlocked I need others to add variety to my multiplayer selection. I thought it was ridiculous and funny how every other map we played was the first one because that was all I could select.

Those are the first two tracks I created so they aren't that great. The other six I have... well, I think they're pretty good, but maybe I'm biased...

I kinda race on the wire and really bank on hitting the cool-down arrows or cutting off AI bikes or landing on them to keep going. Plus I haven't exactly caught on to how long I have before an overheat when the warning goes off. I keep thinking I have a second or two more.

Im with Stratos on this one, I rarely release turbo, but cutting of the other bikes is so rewarding!
