Seems our own Lukasz Balicki (http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/forums/index.php?action=profile;u=404) has left NWR for PixlBit (http://www.pixlbit.com/user?action=showUserProfile&userId=3).
I blame the NWR Newscast. That podcast's lineup is a complete mess.
Any bets on who's next--Zach or Andy?

Big surprise. He's only been trolling the internet promoting Pixlbits Halloween gaming marathon all October. Atleast he finally made it official that he was really working for the other side.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with it, I just was just saying that it's not a big surprise that he was about to switch sides. He obviously had a motive since he was trying so hard to promote it for them, now we know what it was.

I like Pixlbit but there is no forum there.
I like the fact they they cover all consoles in a timely manner and that they are former staff members, so I can trust their opinion. But once again, there is no forum there.

Oh there will be some neat surprises in the future. A bunch of neat stuff is brewing, but you never know what three crazy people running a site can come up with :) Unfortunately, we all have to play the wonderful waiting game for now.
As for forums let's just say PixlBit won't be fun if there isn't a community.

Eh, I'd rather not speculate, but I will, anyways. Could be that NWR is much less time-consuming. That's my guess. Since Pixlbit offers more varied content, and publishes nearly as much, but not quite, original content as NWR does, I'd guess that the pay-off is not yet worth the time being invested. Personally, I think that looking at the short-term results would be frustrating, so I'm hoping the long-term works out for them, and they have the patience to keep it up. It's a pretty nifty site.
Also, I should figure out how to apply :p If one Jason from Gainesville can do it, why can't two?

You have to realize that PixlBit is still in it's infancy and still expanding. We're totally committed to make the site grow, sure it does take more effort to cover more than one platform while trying get the PixlBit name out to the world. But it does feel exciting to work hard on a brand new site and potentially seeing all your hard work payoff and being successful at it.

Andy will not be leaving NWR for Pixlbit. Andy has been reading NWR/PGC since 2000, and listening to RFN since 2006. Andy is a fan of this site, and has no ambition to write for anyone else.
As for Luke, I wish him the best, and I was sad to see that we're losing him because he's a very hard worker and good writer.
As for Neal, I'm really glad to see him back, because he brings a lot to the table from both an editing and a quality control standpoint. Plus he's just a stand up dude.
As for Newscast, the lineup going forward is myself, Zach, and Neal. It was going to be those three plus Luke until Luke took off. We haven't been able to do two shows in a row with the same cast, but unless disaster (DAY OF CRISIS) strikes, we should be stable with the Newscast Trio going forward.
As for NWR, although we're not as quick on the ball as some of the other sites out there at the moment, I'd like to think that we have a pretty great staff of people working on this site and that we provide a good amount of both news and features to keep all of our readers from going elsewhere.

Both, actually. Fortunately the league has allowed me to use a modified hammer hook, and my peg can easily be fixed to a saddle for balance. The obvious disadvantage being that I can no longer lean in to my swings.
Really I was just worried that it would affect my cricket game, and alas, it has.

So yeah, kind of an epic bump on this thread, which I do feel somewhat bad about; however, I don't have any other PixlBit related threads to bump.
