Michael Jackson's classic game may moonwalk to Virtual Console in Europe.

 A recent PEGI listing has revealed that Michael Jackson's Moonwalker might be released for the Virtual Console in Europe.  This is a significant listing, primarily due to the fact that there aren't many licensed titles on Virtual Console.

The listing states that Sega of Europe will publish the title, although it is unknown which version will be released since there was a Sega Genesis, Sega Master System, and arcade version of the game. It is also unknown if the title will be released in other territories, since the game was originally released in North America, the PAL territories, and Japan.

Too soon?

Nah, I bet it will be a while before it releases.

It's actually a cool game! I'd drop 800 points on it.

I remember thinking good things of the arcade version, but I've never seen any sign that the Genesis version was actually good (especially after The Nerd's video rant on it) so hopefully we'll be getting the former...but I'm not getting my hopes up since we've yet to get any major U.S. Arcade games on the VC.

Have we even gotten any global 'major arcade games' on the service? I'm surprised Pac-Man and Donkey Kong have not appeared on it. I'd get both of those at the right price. I won't go near the NES versions.

If Moonwalker does come to VC, we do need to make it a RetroActive game.

Too soon? Didn't they already release a movie about MJ after he died?

my guess is they say how much money that made and his CD's as of late so this is the next logical step.

The Arcade was fun with multi 4 player..   The Genesis brought things closer without giant robot MJ, both versions were great and I prefer the Genesis version because it brought the player closer down onto the playing field.

Genesis = FTW
Arcade = Great Fun Multiplayer

If they released the Arcade DK, no one in their right mind would buy the NES one.

I want the Super Mario Bros. Arcade game released. :(
