Title: A blatent topic containing a thread about religious drug use
Post by: Khushrenada on October 29, 2009, 08:14:12 PM
In order to help satisfy Vudu's need to feel important on these forums, I am complying with his request to commit banning offenses. Feel free to help. By allowing Vudu to use his new modicum of power, he may finally be able to make progress in his battle of self-loathing.
Now, then, the topic on hand. This is a topic where posters can blatantly talk about drug use I guess. Before, people tried to hide it in weird metaphors that went over my head and I didn't get it until the topic was locked. What's the point then? Might as well just say it in the open.
Anyways, I personally think I am addicted to Coke. Not the drug drug coke but the caffeinated soda beverage called Coca-Cola that at one time had cocaine in it and very possibly still could since it can be very addictive. I admit it. I take a hit of the stuff now and then to satisfy the urge. Plus, I know it ups my street cred.
Oh, and one day, someone at my work needed some Tylenol for a headache and I got them some from the first aid kit. Does that make me a dealer?
EDIT: Whoops. Spelt it Coke-Cola before for some reason...

iv never had coke cola..is that where you put coke in coca-cola? Actually, im betting Coca-cola still contains cocaine byproducts for flavor. Coke exports alot of product from columbia and their recipe is a guarded trade secret.
taken from wikipedia
damn, can you imagine how addictive Coca-Cola was when it first came out?
Please refrain from directly copying large chunks of text from other websites. A simple link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coca-Cola#Use_of_stimulants_in_formula) will do. Thanks.

I've been taking diphenhydramine hydrochloride to help me actually get to sleep.

After 1904, instead of using fresh leaves, Coca-Cola started using "spent" leaves—the leftovers of the cocaine-extraction process with cocaine trace levels left over at a molecular level.[26] To this day, Coca-Cola uses as an ingredient a cocaine-free coca leaf extract prepared at a Stepan Company plant in Maywood, New Jersey.
What do they do with all the cocaine? Do I smell Mafia conspiracy? It is Jersey afterall.

Oh gawd, careful with that stuff mate. If you take too much you feel like a nightmare and wake up the next morning with light killing your eyes. I've found its best to take 1 or 2 with a vicodin to to help nod off.

Oh, vicodin? Gee, I thought it was just an unwritten rule to down the benedryl stuff with a few bottles of cough syrup. My bad.

Soo, I don't know what went wrong with the drug use topic. Vudu never banned anybody nor did I hear about any warnings going out. Maybe drug use talk is acceptable to NWR and no longer a taboo subject. Or maybe Vudu just hasn't noticed it yet. Either way, I know another subject that is sure to get the ball rolling. Religion. I'm pretty sure this is taboo and is very likely to get his attention.
So, feel free to talk about religion in this thread. I'm sure it is alright since no one has locked this topic yet. I found this interesting. It was on Wikipedia, another thing Vudu likes.

"Religion" is sometimes used interchangeably with "faith" or "belief system," but it is more socially defined than personal convictions, and it entails specific behaviors, respectively.
Huh. What are your thoughts?

Why does "religion" have an O in it? It's completely absurd and unscientific.

But it's her "personal conviction" for you. Now if only she had a"Belief Prison System" she would be in business. But I have no faith in her accomplishing anything like that, so no need to worry.

Well, since we are talking beliefs, I believe that I should be awarded more mod powers after demonstrating what a bang-up job I can do in my mafia land forum. I believe that the funhouse should be ruled over by a triumvirate of Vudu, Unclebob and myself. I believe that you should support this view or else be labeled a heretic. And I believe that if I don't get my way, other users should join me in a jihad against such opposers.

Looks like I just found my first western infidel dog to rally against. That icon should be covered up more. C'mon. I have to be borderline pushing it now after that last crack. Where's Vudu?

Vudu's part of your UNHOLY TRINITY, if you already forgot. CORRUPTION runs so deeply in your HOUSE OF PROPHETIC PANCAKES that you lack the power to summon TYRANNICAL ENFORCEMENT.

Go back and take a look at what BNM was warned for. It was serious political discussion (followed by a blatant attempt to piss off Pale). This is just Khush making wise-cracks about jihads.
Try harder, chumps.

Actually, I did go back and look, vudu. He was warned twice, 60% total. The first warn was over the religion based one, the second was the political one.

No way man. This is a serious religious discussion. Can't you see how Ningurl69 *huggles and myself are attacking one another over our beliefs? This topic is a powder keg. A powder keg of biblical proportions.

That was the order of the warnings, but the order of the actual posts was the other way around.

The order Pale saw them in was pretty clear, dude. He saw the religious one first, then the political one, and it's reflected in his edits and the order of the warnings.

I'm pretty sure, now that you mention it, that's against the rules, too.
Let me check.
Edit:
Quote
* Do not make any attempt to impersonate a forum moderator/admin or staff member, whether in your posts, user name, or signature. This includes jokes that could easily be misconstrued by new forum users.
* Last but not least, do not accuse another user of breaking the rules within a thread. Instead simply make use of the "Report to Moderator" feature of the forums. There is a link after every post. This rule includes calling someone a "troll" or yelling at them for derailing a thread.
I suppose I should change my signature.
2x Edit: There we go, now, thanks to vudu, I'm in the clear of at least the first listed rule.

Well I did hear that the first and last pages of "THE BEST SELLING BOOK OF ALL TIME!! ALL TIME!!" is really good for rolling in an emergency situation. You gotta use a real copy of the book though, not a cheap version.

Imagine if you had a keg full of it, a ton of God's favorite green plant and a bunch of 1st and last pages from "THE BEST SELLING BOOK OF ALL TIME!! ALL TIME!!". Not only would that be one helluva party, but it would practically be a religious experience.
Throw in a bunch of women & all you can drink "Blood of Christ" and I bet he would have never heard his name called so much in a short few hour span than ever before.

Khush, what went wrong here? The topic has been overrun not by blasphemers but . . . idiots.
I'm totally blaming this on the torn MORAL FABRIC of your community.
My moral fabrics are worn from having to *wait* for so long.

Dude, the ads for this thread are completely contradictory. The top one is an offer to learn Hebrew and the right one is a link to a Muslim matrimonial site. Way to be diverse in advertising.

*shakes head in shame*
No, I know of Muslims and Jews that get along nicely. I'm just saying their religious doctrine disagrees with each other so I found it funny that ads pertaining to each of them were on the same page like that.
