This is news to me. When did you have a Nintendo boycott?
So first they canceled Project H.A.M.M.E.R. Then they didn't give NA Disaster: Day of Crisis Then they denied NA Fatal Frame 4 THEN they have refused to give us Another Code R -This is what broke the camel's back and sent me on a rage spiral.
Most of 2009 has only been third party games. I haven't picked up Punch Out! or Wii Fit Plus or Wii Sports Resort. Endless Ocean 2 will probably make me break boycott if this doesn't.

Added the things I'm mad haven't come Stateside yet.
I'm actually thinking about sending an e-mail to XSeed and seeing if they would consider and try to bring them over here.

This is awesome! Day one purchase, I'll probably camp out for it

Nintendo's other WiiWare games are 1,000 or less so I expect this is going to be 1,000.
Yeah, but this WiiWare game seems different. I'm estimating at least 1500 points.
I'm going to place a wager for 1200 points. This places it at the Sin & Punishment price.
Also, I hope this is a sign of things to come on the WW front from Nintendo. Because along with the possibility of more Nintendo made WW efforts, it may (crosses fingers!) mean more publicity for the service in general (and hopefully publicity for VC along with it).

Isn't World of Goo the only 1,500-points game? I highly doubt this will cost that much, or that there will ever be 2,000-points games. That's getting too close to retail prices, part of the point of WiiWare is cheap games.
I haven't even seen the video yet but especially if this is closer to a remake than a sequel then I think it will be 1,000 points. Even something like Mega Man 9 was 1,000 points if you don't count the DLC. But I guess we'll find out next week.

Well, Plaatchen (sp?) Paint N' Twist was 1500 in PAL-Land. They brought the game down in price for the NA release because of how much it suckedhow poorly it sold who knows what reason ;)
So there is a precedent other than WoG for 1500. Also I believe My Life as a King was 1500 if I'm not mistaken.

I'll say no more than 1000 points because there's the NES game. Pokemon Scramble is 1500 points in Japan apparently.

A messed around with it a little bit earlier today. It's totally OG Excitebike and the track editor is fairly painless. You can save 8 tracks and trade them to friends. Not bad.

It's still a little irksome that there's a cap on the number of custom tracks you can have. I fully expect to see some crazy tracks that I'm not going to want to play often but I'd like to keep because they're awesome.

I told you it'd be 1,000 points. Somebody owes me some money.

I got it, it's pretty awesome. My 3 year old daughter actually got a "B" on the second track (Mexico?).

I got an A on the second track. I'm better at the game than Brandogg's 3 year old daughter.

You should be so proud!! Take a screen cap and print it out. I'll put it up my fridge.

After poking around for a bit I see that each individual profile can save eight custom tracks each, meaning that you can save thirty-two tracks in all. Also, this game requires that you have the Wii Console Number of the person that you want to send your track to, so you don't have to add the game's specific friend codes for each profile in order to be able to send your tracks. When you receive a track, you can find it on the "Messages" section of the profile screen, and I believe (though am not yet certain) that you must choose a profile to save it to in order to be able to play it.

I actually have an A on the first track, and an S on the second (beat the B score by 19 seconds, I believe), so I'm better than vudu AND my daughter.

So I think this should be our Wi-Fi night game this month. I'm gonna go start a thread in the matchmaking board if anyone is interested.
Link to matchmaking thread. (http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/forums/index.php?topic=29841.new#new)
I picked Sat the 14th.

What view do y'all use? 3 looks the best IMO. but the classic view seems to work best for me.

I love this game. I've been playing non-stop, and I've gotten S on every track! Now I'm trying to unlock on the WFC point bikes.
The game has what the very best of Nintendo's games have- a sense of rythm when you're doing everything right. So good.

The two angled views seem really strange to me, I actually don't perform as well with either of them. I have to stick with the "classic" side view.

OMG OMG OMG! I just discovered that you can use created tracks to play online with your friend roster! I hope to see some creative designs from you people.

Monster Games proves to me that they should handle the next Mario Kart game. Why?
It's simple, really. Getting in first doesn't really matter (and is this game, is non-existant), but how fast you go, how good you are at tricks, and your reaction to different obstecles takes more skill then waiting for a red shell and hoping to hell it hits the leader.
Seriously, Nintendo. Get Monster to make F-Zero or Mario Kart, or better yet another Wave Race.
I need an excuse to use the Wii Wheel more.

New Super Mario Bros Wii supports the Wii Wheel. Best controller grip available, sadly.

This game supports the Wii Wheel, too. I wonder if the Pro controls would work better with it? Probably not, but I may still try it.

When I was in the Shop Channel today, I noticed that there was an "update" available for this game. I didn't have time to download it and see what it was, so I was wondering, has anyone else noticed this?
