Charles Martinet (the voice of Mario) recently teased about doing a voice recording gig in Seattle for a new Mario title. He says that it's not for New Super Mario Bros. Wii or Mario Galaxy 2.
I hope it's not another Mario Party or Mario Sports title though.
Here's what he said on Twitter about it:
- Mama Mia!!!! I'm going to Seattle this week to record a new Mario game! Woo Hooo!!!!! I can hardly wait!!!!1
- Big day tomorrow! Seattle for a new Mario game! Yippee!!! And just as a joke, it's going to rain....in San Francisco tomorrow!
- Awesome new Mario Game! And it's not NSMB Wii, and it's not Galaxy 2, but it's going to be crazy fun!
I did not check this twitter post as I do not know how to use twitter, could someone check this for us? Also, I KNOW there is a Bloody "rumors" topic somewhere here, but call me stupid because I cannot find it... yes I did search, but that did not help at all.
Anyways, what you think it is? I would say something secondary like a mario party, or a sports game (tennis, soccer, golf), but he says "It is crazy fun" so I do not know if it is something else...
Also, I KNOW there is a Bloody "rumors" topic somewhere here, but call me stupid because I cannot find it... yes I did search, but that did not help at all.
I can only imagine what Charles Martinet (the voice of Mario) lines are for this one.... Well, he did say "it's going to be crazy fun!" in his twitter page

Does this really surprise anyone? There's ALWAYS been a new Mario game in development since 1981.

And also at least one Mario spin-off game has been released every year since 1997. So I highly doubt that Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be the only Mario game released next year.

Of course there always will be another one. I just meant to show there was the next one in the workings if anyone cared, and there are many people who do care.
