I just slept.
It was the most self-deprecating dream I ever had. I worked at a donut shop / bar. That's right bitches. I worked in a place that made both chicken wings and bear claws.

I thought about making the same thread, but there was absolutely no way to word that thread that would not have taken a political turn for the worse within the first 4 replies. So I just left it alone.

(It's not political to be pissed/shock at winner of the peace prize, I don't object of his political policy but HE HAS NOT DONE ANY OF THE THINGS THEY HOPE HE GOING TO DO. Wait until after he has done them before giving him the prize.
I'm a physicist and I want/going to invent faster the light communication systems, noble prize please!)

I'm a supporter and I agree that it was too soon, but whats done is done. Its also really annoying to watch the news right now and watch people cry over it like the person that received it had anything to do with giving the award to himself, and he should not have accepted it even though there couldn't have been a bigger insult.
I think it was handled with style though, so it's all good either way. haters will hate.

I've heard the news stories all day on msnbc, nothing about anything outside of anything. I have not looked at any articles. All I've heard is that the nominations were made around the 12th day of being in office, which would be too soon. I know nothing about any efforts for World Peace on a national scale before reaching the highest office in the land that were deserving of a Nobel Peace Prize.
It was awarded as a boost to the efforts that were being put forth, and not for the results that the efforts have already seen. That's how it's been explained for most of the day on the news.

I don't buy that, I think it was all a ploy just to catch more attention to the noble prize with a **** storm other than usual "and elsewhere in the news someone somewhere just won the peace prize because apparently they are really peace loving and are a saint. Woo ho!" And this is the biggest head turner...
Nothing political, and just the prize committee being massive attention whores.
