Title: Does the SP light work good?

Ok, I know that the SP light works good in the dark, but what about in other light conditions? I mean, not just low light, but if you can understand what I am saying, medium light. Not bright enough to see the vivid colors on the game. Also, the screen appears very dark in medium light conditions.
For example, my room may have the blinds open and bright sunshine, but if I am playing facing the window, can you still see the screen good?

EDIT: The reason that I am worried is because if it is bright out and the screen is dark, then I use my worm light and it DOES NOTHING, but the worm light works good in darkness, so I hope it's not the same with sp.

Yeah you can see very good. In feel you don't like it you can always turn off the light, but it's always better with the light even under sunlight. There is no problem at all, the light is just great.

I've played my friends' SP's quite a bit and the light is top notch in any lgiht condition. I seriously doubt you'll have any problems with it.

i prefer playing it in the dark myself.
just looks better to me in the dark then in the sun.

It is much easier to see in the dark, with the light. you can't really make out the colors in lighted conditions, unless you are in a car or outside. even if you are in a room like you said I always have the light on.

So are you saying that you can use it in semi lighting conditions? As long as the screen is easily visible. I don't care if the colors are a little washed out. Are there any side by side comparisons of the light in daytime?

It doesn't work good in the light because of reflections of your face and other objects on the screen, but other than that it's great. It you use it in semi-light you probably should still use the light, because this screen is darker than the original GBA.

i see that everyone here can use grammar GOOD. ok i dont know if anyone will get that or not, but i think the SP is good in any light situation. light or dark. medium or ummm... something else. u see novastar512, u can use the sp in just about any situation. in the bathroom with the light on or off, in outer space with the sun or without, or maybe even your girlfriends closet that has a little hole in it so you can see her taking off her... ok nm. the moral of the story folks, is that you must vote for george bush.

The light works great. Though unlit, it's worse than the GBA.

unlit, it is EXACTLY the same as the GBA, because it is the exact same screen!
I think it comes down to perception, I was used to the shi*ty brightness of of my GBA, but it's kinda shocking to see my SP unlit.

Sometimes it sucks when i play in the car. can't get the right lighting.
