I want to turn NASCAR into a team driving sport.
How the hell does that work, you ask?
We need to modify special vehicles. They'll have manual transmissions and the gas, break and gearshift will all be placed like normal.
But the steering wheel will be on the passenger's side.
You'll have two drivers in every vehicle, one working the gas, break and gearshift, one steering.
Alternatively, the gas and break could be on separate sides of the vehicle and there could be two steering wheels, one that controls the two front wheels, one that controls the two back wheels. Or one that controls the two left wheels and one that controls the two right wheels.
Anyone want to finance this venture for me?

Also, the person riding in back is responsible for firing weapons. And both need to work together to bring the blue sparks.

There need to be big ramps for jumps and poles that you can grab onto and spin around a bunch of times for bonus points.

Up the ante a little more. Make it so that the driver on accelerator/brake is blindfolded.

I wonder if we can take elements of miniature golf and add it to NASCAR. Like, a giant windmill with a small tunnel you have to drive through - timing it just right or you'll hit one of the giant windmill blades. Ramps and ****. Oh, and like random tunnels that you drive through and come out on the other side through another random hole, maybe in the lead, maybe further behind...
Hells yeah, NASCAR Extreme.

Have the cars be on fire. . . . Yah, but all the time now. . . . I mean every car will be in flames the whole duration of the race from start to end. . . . Whatever, no one watches Nascar anyway...

I think Nascar racing at night should only be done at night, and with no headlights on the cars or in the stadium, oh, and the audience should be on the track too.

Some tracks do have right turns, RAB. If you tune into the first five or ten minutes of those tracks, it's very amusing. I don't watch much NASCAR, but the only parts I've seen I've liked are those first few laps one whatever those special tracks are called :D
