I've got the last few pics Cat's posted on my photobucket account (with his permission of course) and I plan to edit them in as many funny ways as I can, however I might have to wait till the weekendto get around to it.
I slacked off a lot at work this evening just to do the 2 I posted above, and it took longer than expected because of stupid interupions (ppfft, customers). Tomorrow I might not be so lucky, but I promise I'll make plenty for everyone!

Well since it happened I will have a contest.
Beat me 2 in a row in Brawl. I will only Use Bowser and/or Donkey Kong. You can use anyone you want. 3 Stock no time limit.
Stages: Final Destination, Yoshi Island Brawl, Smashville, Battle Field, Pokemon Stadium 1, Lylat Cruise.
NO ITEMS!
If you can win I will send you an official Shiek statue. I think its aweful compared to skull kid and Fierce diety Link so I am willing to part with it. If I can get ahold of a Sonic I will offer that as well. The same statues from www.first4figures.com!
Also I would like to post more, But I feel like I can't contribute the way you guys do. You all seem so well informed on every video game topic known to man.

Thanks. I took the photo myself. The One Piece cosplayers were super extremely rare. My only regret was that I missed the chance to take a photo of a perfect Nami, she was Nami incarnate, I swear.

Where was that? I was at AnimeExpo(Ultra Nerd fest) in Los Angeles this past July and saw plenty of them. Some really good ones to.
Man I thought I was a nerd, but some of those guys are just super nerds! The kind you fight in Pokemon!

Haha yeah I know what you mean about seeing super nerds at a convention. Everyone just seems to be "normal" (lol) to me, but then again I'm open to diversity in such a way that almost no one can surprise me in the way they present themselves.

Even though I remember seeing you around the boards when I first started here, all these years later I still don't know much about you. Everything I have learned has been pretty recent (stuntman, done some work in movies, got your blackbelt etc).
Now would be the perfect time to reintroduce yourself to the forums.

Well I've been living in Los Angeles all my life. Just with mom and her side of the family. For the longest I remember thinking I didn't have a dad. I thought ladies just had babies for no reason what so ever. And that no matter what race you were your baby could be anything. I figured I was white and my mom was black hahahaha. Doesnt have anything to do with anything, just thought it was interesting.
Grew up with lots of Nintendo and a lot of Sonic. Honestly video games made me what I am today, personality wise. I always wanted to go on adventures like Mario and Sonic. Then Donkey Kong Country inspired me to move like an animal. I practiced for years and years from second grade til the end of high school running on my hands and feet. Always made fun of, but it was worth it. It used to be simple monkey like running, but now I can run like leapord! Remember night crawler in x-men 2? or Creed in x-men origins? I can run like that without wires! Then movies like Lord of the rings and Golem got me thinking "I could do that!" But it just seemed way to out of reach. Friends in high school told me when I was in 9th grade :Hey matt they are hiring for spider-men at universal studios!" I could never get excited cause it was just to big a thing for a simple South LA kid.
I hated sports! well to be on a team. I can't throw a football, I can't dribble a basket ball... yeah I know, black guy with no sport talent. Hahahha. But I did like martial arts, but nothing ever really got me thinking "yeah thats for me!"
Then Soul Calibur 2 was announced with Link! I got the game and Yun Sung, Kilik, Suang Wa, all inspired me to do martial arts. they all do wushu! and around that time I decided I wasn't going to college, and I would attempt to be an actor. I needed any job though around this time, so I went to universal and they hired me very quickly. I was taking care of the characters! With in a year I was the character and doubled my wages! Yahoo! within the next year I was spider-man and tripled my earnings yeeehaaa! Let me tell you guys, being spider-man is under worked and over paid! Everyone loves you! more break time than work time. All the employees treat you like royalty and never under 7 hours a day! Within that time I got waay to comfortable, I was at the top of the roster, so I could pick and choose my days, but I knew I didnt want to be there for ever, and I was gonna have to start auditioning and really getting out there.
Another Spider-Man introduced me to wushu. My teachers Eric and Debbie Chen are amazing! Debbie used to live and train with Jet Li! Coach Eric had Wu Bin live at our school for a while. Wu Bin is Jet Li's only teacher, and he was there teaching me! Thats where things started to unravel. But all my parts here and there have mostly been small, nothing big yet. But I just got a new agent and I am very excited for the future! Now I teach exclusively as my day job, and I absolutely love it! From super old to super young, I feel like I have something to offer you know? And i've learned so many super zany things over the years. Remember how Kilik in SC could climb on top of his staff?! I can do that! like a hand stand on top of the stick but your kicking super high?! Thats called monkey staff! and becuase of Donkey Kong games Monkey has been my favorite style as seen in the picture. I'm not very good at it yet, hahaha.
Throughout the years on these forums I would spill little things about my life, but not much. You guys intimidated me allot. Hahahah. After Metroid Prime 2 came out, I posted that I was trained in motion capture by the lady who did Samus Arans Motion capture in Prime 1. Not sure if anyone remembers, it was years ago. I never told of the time Jacky Chan walks into the school and I was teaching a huge class, of maybe 20-30 people! His assistant was taking pictures and I was like Holy Barnicles! And then he put up a picture of me on his website Jackychan.com sadly it was just the back of me training the classes, hahaha.
I watch allot of cartoons, probably more than live action tv, and mostly comedy. It used to piss of my coworkers allot, since we had tvs and such. It was fairly odd parents and spongebob every day. They always thought I was high because of that, and I never curse, so they thought that was odd to. I say barnicles isntead of the D word, or blasted! I just think its funnier.
And because I was always a nintendo guy I was always in some heated argument with people all my video gaming life. People like Mario, EasyCure, Pale, Iansane, GoldenPhoenix, the list could go on, these guys I would quote left and right on the school yard. If I left you out trust me I quoted you to. When I would get into arguments, I always sounded the most intelegent, no one could beat me, because I would never have a completely biased attitude, and my video game jargon just shut people down!
Man i'm just jumping from all kinds of subjects. If you read it thanks, I know its probably too much hahaha.
But thats a bit about me. Oh yeah, I discovered my dad 2 years ago, man was it a tear jerker. And I went on several adventures that involved chasing down criminals and retrieving stolen goods! When I say that video games inspired my life, I seriously mean it. Sure I'll get killed some day because I wanted to triple jump like mario off a roof top(and i've done it before!) but hey i'm a tough chicken!

^Epic read but you lost me when you tried to suck up by throwing my name in the list of peopled you've quoted ;) I've probably never said anything of merit around here, not when it comes to video games. Music; most likely, movies; maybe, zombies, yeah probably, but video games? NAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Maybe you quoted a joke of mine :P
By the way, I remember your story where you chased down that guy, barefoot! That was one of the best reads I've head on this site, great story. The part about finding your dad is pretty touching too, congrats on that. Too many people go their whole lives never knowing who they're parents are, so you're a fortunate.

That was awesome to read. I'm glad to know there are other people out there that don't think it's weird to move like an animal. I remember when I was trying to run like a horse at school during my physical education class, and they were kind of mocking me, so I challenged them to a race. It was a 1on 1 race, and I galloped towards victory lol. I've been interested in martial arts for such a long time that I'm kind of ashamed I have yet to practice any, but sometimes it's just a circumstance that hasn't allowed me to do so. I have been keeping my eyes on for one, but the right moment has not yet shown up for me. I just hope it's not too late.

Caliban you could be in your mid 40's and I say it isn't too late. As long as your school doesn't have you jumping around and doing gymnastics within the first 2 years you should be good. Flipping like a gymnast in martial arts routine I am completely against! Only monkey style and Ground Tumbling are granted some leway, SOME.
PLEASE tell me some of you remember this. When Stevey first joined years and years ago, he used to talk very... different right? When I read your posts today Stevey you seem just like anyone else. But I know its not just my imagination, but you Stevey used to make your words come out like a... it used to be funny and caveman like is all. And I remember some of you going "Stevey what country are you from?"
I hope its the same Stevey as today, and I mean do disrespect. I just remember long ago your english wasn't so great. Am I wrong? was it all an act? or did this never happen?

I only slightly remember what you're talking about from reading up old threads and a bit from my lurking days... lol he's not foreign either, he's from Jersey. He was just 12 then :P He matured and learned to speak normal english, but his hormones still take over and he goes crazy with HAWTNESS from time to time.

I know the feeling, I was the same way when I joined five years ago. I'm still not sure if I'm a worthwhile member here, but that may just be my insecurity talking, which I imagine is the case for you as well. Sometimes you just have to get over it and take the leap.

And thanks for making my life easier. Everytime i found a good image (one with mario flying at pretty much the angle Caterkiller is in the photo) my IE would lock-up. I woulda tried to "photoshop" him into a mario wold but yours is just as good, and probably a much better job than i ever woulda done.

I was originally gonna have you and Luigi pointing at eachother but it woulda been a pain to get Chris Tucker outta there. At one point I pondered leaving Luigi a little lower in the picture with his feet touching the ground, because he woulda been pointing right at Chris' crotch which made me LOL, but to position it right woulda made it look ugly when shrunken down to 100x100 pixels.
I have a few more ideas with the pictures I have available, so stay tuned!
Normally I take one request at a time, but because doing one for Mop_it_up will be hard, yours will be next!

Hey I forgot all about this ultra amazing month! within the next 5 years I will campaign for another Caterkiller Month, and when that happens I'm going to make real change. Change you can believe in!
Maybe I will do as Maxi suggested and have a real NWR get together. I know lots of you are in Southern California. I really wanted to for Mario, but it just came at a bad time. When and what would be the next big multiplayer title that everyone would love at first(brawl) then hate a few months later?

There are only 5 that I saw that were good options. Sin & Punishment 2. That has 2 player Co-op so if we get a good amount of people than we could switch players after every level or perhaps every gameover. The Grinder is going to have 2 player local co-op and 4 player online co-op. Super Monkey Ball:Step and Roll Monster Hunter 3 NBA JAM Wii .... Man I wished you had this get together back when NSMBW came out.
The rest of Nintendo's games this year are 1 player games.

Mario Party 2 wasn't hardcore enough because it removed the mini-games that needed you to rotate the control stick like mad, causing the fictional cuts that lead to the imaginary scar I have on the palm of my hand needed to validate the seriousness of this post.
