Despite owning GameFAQs, Gamespot are taking one out of their book and doing a character contest, albiet limited to lead heros only. The good news straight off the bat is that there aren't any Kingdom Hearts characters clogging up the list with their filth. The bad news is the hero of the ages, Travis Touchdown a champion everyone aspires to, didn't make the initial shortlist. LUCKILY we can save his sorry arse and demand his inclusion (http://au.gamespot.com/greatest-video-game-hero/greatest-hero/index.html). They're taking the top ten from this poll to round out the 64 entrants and Travis is currently tenth, behind traitorous fuckwits Banjo & Kazooie. We can help our warrior Travis, although maybe he performs better from tenth place.
Also, Kyle Hyde didn't make it but I doubt he'd care.

Woah 45 views! I didn't know there was such interest!
Well good news guys, the bracket has been drawn up and I see Travis' journey towards domination to be a relatively straightforward one. Basically this is how it's going to go down. (http://members.westnet.com.au/rabelford/winbracket.png) Travis got a pretty good draw, up against no names like Alucard and weak losers like Snake. Things definitely pickup though, the match against Donkey Kong, who should just obliterate his side of the bracket, will be especially tough. Could be a bit of a blowout in the grand final, I expect Phoenix to argue his point well though, he'll be worn down though after taking on serious threats like Jade, Croft and Pikachu.
So anyway we need to get the word out and cheer Travis on, he cannot lose!
