How weird.  I'm honestly not sure how much I'll use it, but nevertheless, I'll download it when I get home.

How the piss do you upload animations with this? Seriously, how does Nintendo seem to make even the most mundane tasks complicated as hell?

long cat (http://flipnote.hatena.com/58B34A30CC7C59A3@DSi/movie/7C59A3_0908D70056308_001)

nice program, the drawing feels smoother than pictochat.  Although the online interface (both from DS and the actual website)  I imagine the servers are getting hit hard though....

You can now post pictures to Hatena from your DSi. Not the world's smoothest process (gotta pick "post here," then a channel, then select the channel's description, then pick "post") but at least it's doable now.

Maxi, next time you should link me to the original source and not a link to a news aggregater that forces me to click through to another site first.

My time is worth more than that!

holy crap, this is the best game i've ever bought....or can i even say i bought it.  I'm kicking myself for missing the launch of this, somehow passed over me.

I was ready to spend 5 bucks on this thing and yet it's free, and it is the funnest thing i have ever played, for sure on a handheld.  Please tell me someone else shares my excitment about this game

Sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead but I thought everyone should see this. I'm not sure how popular this is so maybe some of you have seen it already but here is a music video someone made using Flipnote Studio. I think the song and video are really good. The actual video itself is so depressing though but still, you got to love the dedication. I wonder if this guy was inspires somewhat by "Where the Wild Things Are" as the look and feel of the video remind me of it. Anyways, heres the link, I hope you all enjoy. The song is "Losing light" by Billy Polard.

That was seriously one of the best pieces of hand-drawn animation I've ever seen.

Also, really fracking depressing.

I don't know if it was always like this, but Flipnote Studio now comes pre-installed on the DSi (at least it did on the my system, I just bought the Mario & Luigi bundle today). It's neat, but I probably won't use it more than once or twice.
