I've said it for years, and I'll say it again: Bill is my favorite person at Nintendo.

Nice interview man! I laughed when you asked about Mother 3. I gotta give it to you though Neal, great timing on that question with Earthbounds 20th.

I tried to watch it on youtube but the announcer in the background was to over bearing and I just read it instead. Great interview. I would of asked about lack of online, but outside of that I digged it

NWR: Air Sports seems to echo Pilotwings. Is that a wink to Pilotwings fans, or is there any possibility of a full Pilotwings game in the future?

Answer:blah, blah, blah, I'm skillify dodging this question...

Somewhere, Perrin Kaplan is smiling at Bill Trinen's newfound Jedi Mind Trick..  ;)

What was Trinen's main job at Nintendo 8 years ago?

I thought he does that now?

I thought he's a suit now, an upper management dictator who oversees other workers who do the work he used to.

During the E3 2001 press conference, he was "pseudo-translating" Miyamoto as he spoke.  The truth is they were both reading teleprompters.

Now I assume he's got a big desk.

Great interview, i read most of it, and watched certain parts that would seem funny (Mother 3 question). It was a great interview, looking forward to more content like it added to the site.

I thought Trinen ruled the Treehouse for Nintendo. The NOA Treehouse is like Russian Spetsnaz.

I think Trinen still rules over the Treehouse, or he's doing something else now.

Not that they are suffering without him. Treehouse is the only part of NoA besides Customer Service that do things right.
