Has anyone else noticed the tits on the ads for EVONY, some game about tits that advertises here jsut keep getting more and more prominent? At first it was all "save the priness" and jsut some pretty CG lady down the corner and now it's like SAVE THE CLEAVAGE! and a little button down the bottom reminding you to click.

I only see the adds on the main page but interestingly enough, today I did notice when I came to the site. It was unusual since I think all the adds just had a CG picture like RAB mentioned but this one was a real life photo which caused me to pause for a moment. I wasn't sure at first if it was a real person or not but not I'm pretty sure it's a real person with the add touched up a bit to soften it.

Wow. Can't say I recall seeing the last add where it is just the chest shot. It's possible but I can't recall. But that was a great article and I definitely can agree that is how those adds have progressed.

Nah I reckon their CG guys jsut keep getting better. I reckon the most blatent one was the one with the sword pointed directly at her cleavage. Gee I wonder where our eyes are meant to go?
Also why block ads? This is gunna sound crazy but sometimes I even click ads. I might've even clicked on Evony a few times, just not lately.

My screen is just like my home, filled with the things I want, and I don't want solicitation at either.
Besides, the ads take up valuable space on my screen, and aren't selling anything I would buy anyway.

There's an even worse ad with some woman who looks like she must be pushing 50 and wearing so much makeup she looks plastic.

I was actually thinking of making a thread about this very thing because I have noticed the change as well. They must really want people to try the game. I thought it was a browser based clone of Civilization but now you don't even know what the game is. It looks more like those annoying dating site ads than a game ad.

My favorite EVONY ad so far is the one where the queen is all scared and sad and a sword is pointing down her cleavage. It was hilarious. But yeah, I am glad to know I am NOT the only one who noticed the change in the EVONY ads.

I think its funny that i used to notice the Evony ads more when the character models used in the promo were more fictional, WoW type characters, now that there's a realistic model there with giant cleavage, i actually DONT notice it.
For one thing, I'm at work so i try to scroll past that because it looks NSFW, secondly i don't even know what the hell the ad is for cuz i never once stoppd to look at it. Only after i read this thread did i realize there's "evony" in tiny script in the corner of the ad. WtfLOL!

In the time period civony is set in, people didn't live to be as old as this woman.
Also, kings married queens who are YOUNGER than they are for the purpose of bearing children, not ones who are already a quarter-century past menopause.
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the elderly. I only disagree with attempting to use them as sex objects.
With the arbitrary picture of breasts, you could imagine they were at least attached to a woman under 70.

switch to FireFox and install Ad Blocker.
You don't have to block all the ads, but you can select the ones that you do want to block. that will solve all your ad issues.

Now that I'm using Chrome, I finally see the picture your talking about. AND GOOD LORD is that woman ugly. While she isn't 50+, she still is disgusting.

I use Chrome to browse, and it's possible AVG might be ad blocking but I don't think it has that ability. I use the Core theme for the forum layout.
