You have to click the link to see it for yourself... Gamestop is selling wiis with either a rubber ducky, pirate tatoo or even a squirt gun, and these are the stuff you can buy for ยข25 at a dollar store!
P.S. I thought it would be funny to see what you guys would pick if you were to buy a wii.... I pick a rubber ducky :3

To be honest, I have NO IDEA what gamestop is trying to pull... All I can think is that it is a way to buy a wii for a family member or friend, and ship it to them, they open it up and also get a rubber duckie with it... It HAS to be a joke for people you send it too! Nothing else makes sence.... 0_o

I would put the Pirate Tatoo on the Wii

Which games make use of these new peripherals?

those three aren't peripherals... they are real (cheap) toys!

I know I was just being facetious. :P

They come free with the system (notice the Wii's with them are still $250), so it's not like you are paying extra for them. It is still odd though.
I would go with a squirt gun, and probably give it to my 2 year old nephew.

Coming soon to Wii: Ernie's Rubber Ducky Adventure.
Ubi can use the Rabbids engine.

This is going to do wonders for the Wii's reputation as an all-inclusive console that everyone can enjoy. What, they couldn't find a box of crayons and a coloring book to pack in with the console when they made this absurd choice?

The squirt gun would be great as a New Play Control peripheral for Mario Sunshine.

Yes, I can just see the news reports now:
"This just in, Todd. We've been getting reports of people setting their houses on fire with Nintendo-brand squirt guns recently acquired when they purchased the video game "New Play Control Mario Sunshine." A Nintendo representative was unavailable for comment, but our sources say that victims squirted these squirt guns at their TVs while playing the game, thinking they were an official peripheral and starting an electrical fire. More on this story as it develops."

The squirt gun could go with Water Warfare if it could accept a Wiimote but as it is you'll have to use that Nerf gun instead.

lol....
Perhaps this is nintendo reducing the price of the wii! The new price is $200 dollors for the wii, and $50 dollors for the rubber duckie! And people said the reduction wouldn't happen....

They're free; don't complain. I'll go with the rubber ducky even if it is Sony's spokesman... (when are the black Wiis coming out again?)

I kinda understand the point of these things. They are incredible cheap (probably 50 cents?) items that really don't cost anything for Gamestop to bundle, yet other stores don't offer them. So if you have gamestop Wiis costing the same price as everywhere else but the gamestop wiis also include some cheap toy then that tilts the balance in their direction and makes it more worthwhile to buy a wii from them.
If you're going to pay the same regardless, why not get the one that gives you something else, no matter how crappy and cheap it is?

This has "Gamestop" written all over it.
I didn't think I could like them any less, but here we are.
