Total Movies: 60

Some of the digital copies are movies I owned but decided to rip onto the computer and sell the dvd . My friend buys more DVD's than I do so he gives me the digital copy paper and I download them. Others I actually bought from iTunes. It doesn't seem like much DVD's but it does fit a bookcase.

Yeah I was bored last night. Bored enough to make inventories of both all my videogames and all my movies, but it's good to know how many total movies I own and who currently has one of my movies.

It should be fun to see what movies we have in each others collections.

How as the Wonder Woman Animated Movie?

I love all the DCAU stuff, but I haven't gotten around to picking it up yet.

jeez thats a big list. Even counting my non-movie dvd's i dont nearly have that many!

Lets see.. off the top of my head i have:

Spaceballs
Walk The Line
Casino Royale
South Park: Bigger Longer Uncut
South Park Season 10
Sean of the Dead
Orgazmo
Basketball
A Scanner Darkly
Lord of the Rings (1 i think)
Star Wars Episode I
The Dark Knight
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (remake)
Saw (1)
The Wedding Singer
51 Dates (lol this and the previous were both gifts from 2 diff girlfriends)
Robocop
Mortal Kombat
Super Mario Bros Super Show V 1 & 2
Legend Of Zelda Series dvd
The Illusionist
Garbage Pale Kids; The Movie
Dawn of the Dead (remake)
Land of the Dead (was a 2-pack with DoD!)

hm.. thats all i can think of for now. I only bought like 2 of those myself, lol, the rest were either gifts or somehow ended up in my possession. For instance, Saw and Texas Chainsaw Massacre are both my brothers dvd's but he left them at my house and rebought them because he thought they were lost, so they're mine now.

That list isn't counting the few movies i have on my ipod, which were acquired by other means.. and were shared with me. Those include:

Superbad
Knocked Up
The Kingdom (which i havent yet watched)
I Am Legend
and another season of South Park, just don't know which.. (Contains the episodes: Tsst, The Return of Chef, etc)

As for my other non-movie dvd's, i might as well list those too.

The Cure: Trilogy (AWESOME DVD! 3 full lengh albums played over 3 nights in European concerts, just plain epic.)
The Cure Greatist Hits (music videos)
The Cure: Festival (not as good.. /sad)
Bad Religion Live @ ...
Social Distortion Live in Orange County
The Smiths: The Singles (music videos)
New Order (old club footage as well as newer concert footage)

and i think thats it.

****, I have tons more than that, especially if I include my VHS stuff. I used to be such a media whore. I also find that movies generally suck more nowadays too.

Whats up with the lack of The Lord of the Rings?

nron - the Wonder Woman movie is great. Awesome stuff. Just get it, you won't be disappointed. Especially if you liked New Frontiers. The art style is better, for sure. And it includes the preview for Green Lantern. I cannot wait for that one.

My list is a really long one, so I'm just gonna summarize it as best I can.

Netflix

Total Movie Count: I have no idea, but I don't think I will ever get to watch them all.

I don't own any movies. Nothing seems good enough to be worth buying and everything is shown on TV eventually.

You should get netflix. Don't watch movies on TV, they are heavily edited and in some cases butchered.

You mean most cases.

Though sometimes i love watching a movie that i know is heavy on the swear words so i can see how they go about editing it. Sometimes they can be hilaaarious. Newer movies don't lend themself to this because they'll usually have the actor dub over their own words (or rather, us words already spoken from that actor to dub themselves later). If i ever see an 80s era movie come on tv i can't help but watch and and listen to the horrible dubs they do!

hehe i even started a thread on this subject.

I think the best ones are in the movie "Friday". They have a Chris Tucker impersonator do the dubs and they sound horrible!

haha i remember that! I think its just a lil funnier when the voice sounds NOTHING like the actor mouthing the words.

One of my favorite examples of this has always been certain broadcast versions of the Back to the Future movies. There's a momen when Michael J Fox says "holy ****!" but its replaced with "holy geez!" and he just sounds ridiculous. It's one of those things you just have to hear for yourself though.. but man its priceless!

I would get that if I liked watching movies enough. Movies on TV are essentially free and I don't really mind the editing because the stuff they edit out is usually swears and nudity and things like that which I don't care for.
