In the game, called Ransen! Pokémon Scramble, players control toy versions of the popular Pokémon creatures. Unlike other entries in the series, battles are not fought in a turn based one-on-one format; instead, players fight in a chaotic battle royal against a large amount of other Pokémon in real time. As rival Pokémon and giant bosses are defeated, players build up a large number of ally Pokémon.
The game features a single player mode and a four player cooperative mode. Players will be able to transfer their Pokémon data to the Wii Remote's internal memory, which allows a player to bring their Pokémon from the game to their friend's Wii.
Ransen! Pokémon Scramble will be available in Japan on June 16 for 1500 Wii Points ($15). Nintendo has not announced a release date for any other region.
edit: Was this game at E3 in any shape or form? seems weird for a game coming out this month to not get a mention at E3 or the Post E3 JPN conference.
