Title: NWR June Wi-Fi Night Game Vote Thread

Alright guys,
I'll be taking over Wi-Fi night for June and July since Pale is a little busy. So let's start off nominating some games you want to play sometime this month. Once we finish nominating games then we will vote for the game and then vote on what date we want to play.

Is this an elaborate trap to detail how many games Ian doesn't play?
I won't mention The Conduit (oops) because Wii gamers aren't recession proof unlike PS3 gamers, so no one's gonna have the game in time for Wi-Fi night.

Isn't conduit going to be July's game since it is coming out so late in June?
I'm down with BWii if I have the cash to pick it up in time for the night. What week are we shooting for it to be?

The three games I'd want to play have already been nominated so I'll throw out a nomination for Mario Strikers Charged.
I'll probably vote for Battalion Wars II since both Mario Kart Wii and Bomberman Blast were featured in previous nights, but I have a bad feeling that Super Smash Brothers Brawl is going to win again... :(

All the Reggies made me do a double take, and I thought you were Mop it up with a comment like that. What's wrong with starting now? You don't even have to have a credit card. I use my debit card (never owned a credit card and plan on never getting one) and Amazon is one of the safest places to order things from on the interwebs.

I watched my parents struggle with financial issues and bankruptcy trouble when I was a child. I'll never get a credit card because of it.
Maxi, check your local Craigslist site. A friend of mine got a good deal on several Wii games from people who live locally on there.

Mario Kart Wii. I won't have the money to buy new games, so Battalion Wars 2 is not an option for me. I do have Pokemon Diamond and Super Smash Bros. Brawl also, but Brawl is too laggy to have fun online.

Debit/checking card, dude. Works like a credit card except the cash comes straight from the bowels of your checking account. Just remember to put money in that account & there ya go.

Also, I find it funny that 10 people have voted for it so far, when I'm willing to bet that there's not even 10 people on this forum who own the game.
Yeah that does seem strange. The last Wi-NFi nights had more voters than participants too. I'm not sure why someone would vote if they aren't going to play...

Part of it comes down to the fact that the day voting comes after the game voting. In the last round I voted for Bomberman Blast, but I wasn't able to play because it was held on a day which I wasn't available.
In this case though, I think people are just voting for the game because they feel bad that it's never had a chance to shine. That, or Pro's stuffing the ballot using alts.

I'm just surprised by what looks like a landslide victory. Looks like you guys wanted to play BWii badly, it will be curious to see the results of next month's Wi-Fi night if it's not The Conduit.

That is an excellent point. I think the day should be determined first so that people who are voting for a game they know for sure they can actually be there to play.
