Players pick a team of four monsters from the Dragon Quest universe and battle the computer or other players locally or online. Battles are played on a grid and the goal is to knock out all the monsters on the opponent's team. The game supports up to four players, however only two players play at a time in an elimination style of gameplay.
Yuji Horii is serving as the supervisor for this title, Akira Toriyama returns as the character designer, and Koichi Sugiyama returns as the music composer for the title.
The game will be released some time in mid-June in Japan for 500 DSiPoints. There is currently no release date in North America.

Strategy games like this are usually very big, in the sense that there is a lot of content. They don't seem like the type of game to be offered as DSiWare. So I'm wondering how will this turn out. Is this going to be comparable to Advance Wars or Fire Emblem or will it be more scaled back?
