Or my computer sucks.  :(

I can play HL2 Ep 1 just fine but I get an error message every time I try to launch TF2.  Oh well--it'll have to wait a couple years when I break down the get a new PC.

YOu can do like I did and just upgrade it piece by piece.
I couldn't bring myself to part with the amount of cash to buy a new PC all at once, so I did it slowly over a year.
a new part every couple months. no different than buying a game or two every couple months. Much easier on the wallet when you don't really notice $50-75 spent at a time vs $400-600 all at once.

Maybe you missed the part where I just dropped $1,300 on a new TV?
