Title: Weekly Famitsu Offers New Details on Darkside Chronicles

Ada Wong will be appearing in brand new scenarios based on the Resident Evil 2 storyline.

 This week’s Famitsu offers some new details on the sequel to 2007’s Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles. Ada Wong is confirmed to appear as part of the game’s Resident Evil 2-based scenarios. In the original title Ada worked alongside Leon Kennedy; in Darkside Chronicles she will assist Claire Redfield in surviving zombie-infested Raccoon City. Sherry Birkin will also appear, this time seeking Leon’s help.    

The game is set to release in the Fall of 2009.

I don't like this. I wanted something canon. I mean, Ada and Claire together would be cool as an alternate scenario, but not as the actual storyline. This would completely change the game and how it progresses..

Considering that Umbrella Chronicles was canon, this would be annoying if Darkside Chronicles wasn't.

You know what I always wanted to see? A story in which Leon and Claire meet Jill Valentine. RE2 and RE3 took place in the same place at the same time. It might not be canon but it would be awesome if they met each other and helped each other survive.

One thing I wanted to write in this story is that supposedly a gaming publication confirmed that one new scenario will take Leon to South America, similar to how UC took Jill and Chris to Russia. But they were rumors so I avoided them.

I wish I could have found out more about that. People say that came from EDGE Magazine, other says it came from Nintendo Power.
