To be brutally honest, I miss Bill. Its sad that he left under sad circumstances. But if he doesn't want to return and doesn't care anymore why should we care? He made his decision, we were upset about it and we moved on. If we continue trying to convince Bill to return we are the ones looking sad and pathetic.
Let Bill return whenever he wants. Stop condemning the mods over the decision that forced Bill to leave and move on.
And FYI, I know this is the funhouse. But I am serious when I say its time to leave Bill alone and let him return when he gets over it.

I have to agree. I didn't start this thread to remember bill (thats what his last thread was for, well what it turned into) but in response to the then new Funhouse title.
The guys gone, and probably not coming back. Do we really need to turn any thread that mentions him into a wake? Yes it sucks he's gone but whenever the topic of him leaving comes up, it doesn't bring any GOOD memories of Bill to mind, just the bad; the needless Nintendo bashing and hostility that ran thru this community and lead to him leaving in the first place. Its bad enough that whenever his name comes up a thread turns into a requiem (as vudu put it) but now we have a whole section of the forum with a reminder of his departure. This is supposed to be the funhouse, and i just don't see anything fun about beating a dead horse and having said horse gragged into EVERY topic.
I'm not gonna sit here and pretend i was the guys best friend, cuz i wasn't. I sent him an email shortly after he left just to let him know that he was appreciated around here, and thats it. If he ever comes back, awesome, if not then theres still plenty of other regular forum goers (and some new additions) that make this place worthwhile.

I remember seeing one and he was wearing shorts or boxers or something.. i just remember it was a dark room and i saw his pastey white thighs in the glow of the tv and i had to stop watching. I loved the funny comments/reactions he did during those.

You could just review underrated classics of old like the Happy Videogame Nerd.
I like his stuff because it is a parody of the Angry Videogame nerd, and also because a lot of those games I missed and I look out for them.
Though if you do it you have to do it right. He curses and I think that to be a perfect contrast to the AVGN then you have to remove all cursing and use your own 'nice' words like gosh, darn and shoot. You would be perfect because you already do that with your "Ah, dirty floors" line. You are perfect for the job.

A parody of a parody, now that's epic. I don't think I would want to watch any of those existing parody reviewers because I have a feeling I would end up subconsciously copying their style. If I were to enter that territory, I would want to develop my own style; if it ended up being similar to somebody already out there, it would just be a coincidence. The number one goal is to be entertaining though, so as long as I got that right then I don't know if anyone would care how original I am. There are a lot of parody reviewers out there these days so it's almost impossible to be completely original at this point.
Though I can't really do that even if I wanted to, because I don't have a PC microphone.
I think you are going to be great for the job Mop_it_up.
That would be quite a project to take on, I don't know if I would be up to it. I have an idea for a skit involving Mario Strikers Charged, so after I create that maybe I'll try to do something with NES games. Wario's Woods might work, I like that game and few have heard of it.
If I did make something it would be at least a month before anything surfaced, and I'm not making any promises.
