This game really does look good though, kinda like Iron Man meets Mega Man in a nice looking side scroller platformer.

I just noticed this on the site that is formerly known as WiiWare World. Looks like the platformer genre is about to explode on WW.
You have this and the Musketeer game coming, plus Furry Legends and the eventual Lost Winds 2. Lots of neat platformer-type games on the horizon.

Looks like it could lots of fun! I'll definitely keep my eye on it. I just hope that the WiiWare version isn't gimpped compared to the XBLA and PSN versions.
Funny bit: Until I saw the end of the trailer I was pronouncing the game's title to it rhymes with Pokemon. ;D
What is this? Obscure WiiWare day or something? Why do we have all these new threads for random WiiWare games no one's ever heard of?

There's no XBLA version I think though XBLA gets 'Splodeman which seems to have the same concept.

The game looks really nice from the trailer. The more fun platformers on wiiware is always a good thing.

I think these games need to be showcased and discussed more. WiiWare was made in the best intentions of getting more developers to work on the service, so the more talk their games get the better.

Also the discussion comes up because stuff got announced. For some reason April 1 was a big announcement day, maybe because of fiscal years or something.

I think it kind of had its thunder stolen by the very similar game that is XBLA exclusive. similar gameplay & title.

Hope no one was looking forward to this title--it's a PSN-exclusive (http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2010/03/25/explodemon-psn-exclusive-for-the-moment/). :(
The good news is it looks like it might just be a timed exclusive. No word on whether Sony ponied up some dough for exclusivity or if they were just having problems fitting the game into WiiWare's size limit.

Why money hat a PSN game? Especially when the only competition is the Wii. Seems an odd decision. But if Sony wants to waste cash like that then so be it.
